Spendy day today, but at least I have all this week's meals planned so no more food spending till next Monday (that's the theory, at least).
Menues are : Shepherds pie and broccoli tonight with fresh strawberries to follow
Burgers in home made rolls with coleslaw and chips tomorrow.
Wednesday I am at work so OH has some smoked haddock to do something with.
Thursday ditto and it's pork steaks with rice.
Friday ditto and it's home cooked fish and chips.
Saturday is sausages day and Sunday roast chicken.

I might sneak in another NSD tomorrow...watch this space.

Evening all! Well not a NSD as I paid for parking for the Shaolin Warriors this evening which was £3, BUT I took back some insect repellant which I didn't use on hols which was a refund of £5.99...sooo technically I'm £2.99 up on the day :j:j

Shaolin Warriors was great - didn't realise they did a few bits of audience participation, esp a bit where they got loads of kids up which was fab. Couldn't believe a woman turned round to me in the queue for the toilets at the interval and asked 'are you enjoying it?' I said yes and she replied 'it's ok, but I'm hoping its going to liven up a bit in the second half, I was expecting more balancing on blades and pyramids and stuff' a) I would like to have seen her do any of what they were, b) I should have said 'this isn't Britain's Got Talent you know  :rotfl::rotfl:

Hoping for a NSD tomorrow, don't need anything (even resiting a pair of boots on the Schuh site I have been slavvering after for ages) - bank account is looking a little poorly until pay day so I need to budget and be good. :A

    Thanks :)

Could be interesting trying to find anything to talk about by Sunday ;)

Saturday saw us chatting on FB for 10 hours (a huge percentage of which was on the instant message thing), and yesterday was about 2.5 hrs on FB instant message and 4 hours (3hrs 57 to be precise) on the phone !!! He's been really easy to talk to both ways - which is saying something, 'cos I detest on-line chat even talking to my DD !!

Sounds good, Cheryl:T. Fingers crossed for Sunday:D
