Pah! no NSD for me - made the mistake of going to Mr A as I had a £6 voucher that expired on 24th and we needed some food (esp fresh stuff). OH gave me grocery budget of £30.... and I spent £50 :eek::eek: Which means I will need to cough up the difference in the groceries.

Popped into the town centre on my way home, took a couple of bits back to one store, and then decided I may as well get my brows done as it was already a spendy day. Also went into 99p store to get some spaghetti letters (OH likes them and they have Branst*n ones in there atm 3 for 99p), unfortunately I also picked up a bottle of screen wash, and two new oven trays (which led to me giving the oven a quick clean when I got home too).

Bit miffed as I was filing a huge pile of paperwork this afternoon and noticed on a cc statement that I have been charged interest for a 0% period ending. Thing is that my previous statement said estimated interest on next statement as 0, and when I called a while back they told me the 0% period expired in Sept - so now I need to call to see what that is all about  Sometimes I feel that as hard as you try to take steps forward, something always forces you back again :( pah! sorry for the grumble.

Small spendy day for me as I got my mum some flowers and then popped back to grab us both some groceries and some wine. Spent ages at customer services as their special offers didn't tally up right, but in the end it worked out that we both got a free bottle :T

    Thanks :)

Could be interesting trying to find anything to talk about by Sunday ;)

Saturday saw us chatting on FB for 10 hours (a huge percentage of which was on the instant message thing), and yesterday was about 2.5 hrs on FB instant message and 4 hours (3hrs 57 to be precise) on the phone !!! He's been really easy to talk to both ways - which is saying something, 'cos I detest on-line chat even talking to my DD !!

Well I managed to survive the weekend without getting into the car to get any of the following: wine, chocolate or other treaty snacks, it was hard I can tell you. I may allow myself a spendy day today for some of my favourite cheesy poofs. I have my first consultation meeting today, don't know what questions to ask. Safe to say I'll be working on my application for one of the few remaining posts.

    :)
