You'll be missed if you're not around!:)

Ahhh...thanks Jints. Not sure what internet situation will be while I'm away, OH says he's not taking his laptop but has enquired about the wireless facilities at our hotel so I think he's considering it...

Really feeling hopeful about this month's target. Fingers crossed!!

Also trying to undo some of the damage from last month - spent £60 on clothes and I'm hoping to neutralise that. I've called in £20 of tesco vouchers from surveys i've done and am hoping to be able to return 2 pairs of holiday shorts that I decided I'm not that over the moon about once I tried them on (£16) and have been slogging on $TP while they have their 20c / track offer on to try and raise the remaining £24. About half way there at the mo on that last bit and fading fast. Still will feel very virtuous if I can do it :D

Gosh. Can't believe how many posts there are already. It's great to have all these newbies joining us. Hi everyone!
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend.

I'll continue to do the Saturday and Sunday updates for you all which Spoon will then update on the front page on Mondays.

Just so you know, I'm off out now and not sure what time I'll get back, so may not be able to do the 1st update until tomorrow.
  • I am going to sign up this month - put me down for 10 NSD as a starting point.

Could I be put down for 18 NSDs please? I intend to do better in May than I did in April!

Thanks for the welcome back SS not sure whether I like being an 'oldie' though ... :p

Yes, it's great to be free of the bad old debt, although I do have a new CC with a 6 months 0% rate which I'm using to buy some stuff so technically I still am on the DFW train & that's why I'm here.

I've been practising today by having a NSD & have to stay home all day tomorrow waiting for new cooker to be delivered so that should see me off to a good start :D

Hey Lula - nice to see you over here (I always feel a bit guilty chipping in on the Crazy Clothes Challenge since I didn't actually join - but I love the chat on that thread too, and hearing what everyone else has bought is like virtual shopping :D)

Spoony - based on advise from Jints, can you put me down for 8 NSD in May please? I know this is far less than normal for me, but I'll be on hols for a week so that basically wipes out a week's worth of days in the month as I'm not counting my holiday one way or the other, I know there will be a few last min spends in the run up and I am sure to need to stock up on a few bits when I get back and might not be all that organised. On the upside, my holiday money is accounted for so I won't be touching my cc or dc while I'm away :A
