Making mayhem in May with the NSD challenge

I am tempted to post my First NSD given that I took myself off for walkies around the local estate thus working up quite a sweat, I bypassed Tesco and told myself that I could get a Saturday Paper or look online, or that I had to plan visits to a local Coffee shop that is the best in the locality. No spending today which means: no internet shopping, no offline 'real' shopping and no Apps shopping!! I am having to include apps as they are swearword tempting and I have spent loads last month on them.
My financial vice is to spend too much one month and end up having to cut back on a month I would rather be spending on ie my Birthday month.
I live on my own and so activities are centred on TV which inspires spending (new tv and remote at least gives me my control back so I mute the ads), Laptop, my favourite and my beloved Iphone. Nearly there, watching a film and heating up my custard for Banana Custard in the slow cooker in a bain marie!!! 9 minutes to first NSD, might as well provide a bit of amusement for my MSE NSD Wannabes, a wee foothold that takes money away from those nasty retailers whilst screwing them off their best stock!!!! Looks like I am gonna make it and a short post will end up a long post. I don't normally watch horrors I find them too frightening and don't wish to be disturbed. What lies beneath is on ATM. I DONE IT MY FIRST NSD!! SPOONIE PUT ME DOWN FOR IST NSD!!!#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Woohoo! NSD 1 done.
How I did it: avoid Tescos geographically cos its 10 mins walk away, tell myself I can get Saturday Paper which is best for the TV, do it online, NO App spending, online shopping, or actual shopping. I told myself that if my friend was with me as we went for a walk then she would spend but not me. Encounter casaul but close. Looking at MSE to see what is doable and 'me'. Trying to make sense of MSE. Acted on advice of MSE and got dresses higher value than spend Tesco Clubcard Vouchers on Food Shopping. Going in for compettions, quite a few recently but nearer 10 rather than in 100 as I hear real competitors do. Two free Novels of magazines, only time I get them as I consider mags to be poor value but the service rich, ie you can do it online provided you are skeptical as they seem to be about biased marketing rather than genuine enrichment. evaluate mags for gifts, nab best ones, novels best but books of varying qaulity. Be true to myself ie stick to qaulity.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Using the nice weather as an Outdoor Living Room in the most luxuriant and adventurous functional sense of the word is another idea to save money, something neighbours do lots of and I don't do enough of, but try to make sure I get my 10 minutes, or I make sure as soon as I am out of bed then moi is in the full blast sunshine to reset chemicals and make my coffee go down right. I should if I was a good girl, take myself off for a walk as the morning for some reason seems to be a good time to do things. Something about the morning. Reading serious literature is also good as well for am activities.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

:)Good morning all!
Well, I finally got my hair done and I feel tons better! Plus, it was a lot cheaper than I had anticipated, so that was lovely!
Then I bought a memory card to transfer my photos from old phone to new and discovered that I already had one! So will take it back today for a refund - £7 saved! Spent most of the afternoon setting up my new phone - think I'm sorted - not very techie minded as you know!
I also treated myself to a new mascara - badly needed but on offer at A$da so not too expensive!
Today is a quiet day, will just be relaxing and getting organised for hols!
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

OK, have finally caught up and I'm declaring NSD #2
Did food shop yesterday, I normally try to get it done on friday when I'm tired and annoyed and want to get it over with as quickly as possible (means I spend less) but couldn't so I went to Aldi. I haven't been in one of these places since I was a student, not for any major reason just other supermarkets were easier.
Well I've lived in my house for 6 months and recently I've taken a major dislike to buses so I took my granny trolley and the kids and we walked. I'd forgotten how dangerous it can be, ended up spending an extra tenner, on stuff I needed but not on the list!
