Blesssings to @psychobathbubble The volcanic springs must spring up in terms of books buying in the self learning to make learning really rewarding. I would be in buy first sell later modes but be very good on book buying front to get all important essential materials in terms of theory, philosophy etc.

Thanks, jinty, I was starting to wonder that myself (and re the post before).

Wouldbe.... please try to keep vaguely to the NSD topic on here or we'll have someone from MSE towers telling us off....

    Thanks

Downloading FREE Apps on my beloved IPhone 3GS (please folks don't even THINK of buying any less of an Iphone you will regret it if you do) which seem to be Free First then Pay Later Apps hence needing to spend loads on my Iphone which has 144 spaces or 12 apps per page based on 10 pages, limits one is constantly grabbling with to make the most of this thing of beauty and utility. ( I am a Laptop Convert Independence on the Road that is *Me' in a Technological Nutshell). So here is to making Target and First ever NSD Target met with the prospect of adding more MSE Challenges to help me be a Good Qaulity Money Saving MSE Girl.:money::beer:

Thank goodness for that, jinty, I thought it was just me:o:o

Well even if I could, beanie, I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it, clearly:rotfl:
    1) I am a Laptop Owner. Brother repairing Screen mean't saving money that could easily have been spent on a suitably decent specced replacement.
    2) Because of caring committed family I got a SIM Free Iphone 3GS solving long term Smartphone problemn. I am of opinion that Smartphone is ONLY way to do Mobile project but wonder if I need a Text and talker just to put in D List ie Companies Competitions Advertisers who DARE to contact me with their wonders, keeping them off my A Listers Black Book Address Book prized Iphone.
    3) I am on benefits for many years now. I forget what I am on. I am no longer on DLA but I have got private Diagnoses. Whole thing is nightmare hence
    4) I try to live as normally as possible from Functioning wonderful Iphones to nice clothes to genuinely serious heavyweight academic texts (unbelievably helpful believe me!!) to being very particular about where I go to eat. I rarely eat out if I do it's proper and up to the plate. Milsons in Dedham deserves a visit.
    5) Kind family only opportunity really to experience the high life from Champagne to wine to fine food. They are unstintingly generous and if you like set the standard for when I do spend.
    6) Middle class lifestyle. I have been accused of being extravagant snobbish by those who are smoking themselves into an early grave, who get suicidal and then they envy me for my nice meals, cos all of above is pull up to Self Preservation that falls woefully and frustratingly short of Mum's Self Preservation that got her a career, house, car, pension etc against all odds including cultural integrity odds.
    7) Friends are all sorts including what may be first and probably last alcoholic junkie pal. But he is lovely and has it all there if only he did not hate on himself. I care for him and would move up there to be nearer to him cos above is too stressful and worrying from afar.
    8) Lifestyle Choices is Swearword ending with k you to all those who seek to give Underclass deprived def classification the utter crappiest crap to eat wear educate etc. I look pathetic or genius depending on opinnion. But if I don't need to buy again I win. Mum sheds off 20% off her shop, Big biz hates her. I need them to hate me and me get all their prize items off them.
    9) I have gotten genuine Designer clothes from local Oxfam, Burberry, Joseph and a a fetish inducing beloved Silk shirts. Silk and cashmere is brilliant at keeping warm AND stylish in these shoddily made flats that thankfully are not damp.
    10) Iphone 3GS is a lifesaver. I might as well do list.
    11) If I do an SOA I will be painfully honest but brutally true to self take what I can from MSE. Qaulity recipes from reliable authorative cooks Middle Class if you like looks like loony extravagant but much MSE potential in wrongly imprisoned peasant food!!!
    12) Cooking is next to budgetary godliness.
    13) Organic boxes fruit and veg quality means last longer, TEsco et al rotted as soon as got home. BARGAIN yes I know it don't look like it.
And I do a wee bit for Environment. Praise God for guy at Church who put me onto them. Worth every penny. SINS SINS OF STEWARDSHIP AND USE. Must start Food use diary and get open on MSE to overcome.
    14) end of all stuff is overcome odds and be like Susan Boyle et al who got off benefits best way possible. that would be fine. Unique contribution means I get followers, blog correspondence, fans, guys who fancy me, warm smiles from babies and children, wamth and welcome from loving rellies,...
    15) what little Christian faith have goes into believing God answers prayer but I go before him sexaul, sexy, stylish and defying unhelpful dangerous things infiltrated Church!!!
    16) If I am naughty girl friend is perfect for healthy deviance. Iphone 3GS helpful in scotland where I can access GPS. MORE is best for Highlands and islands! Yes I look extravagant but outdoor apps and and.
love and blessings and hugs to all thanks for caring welcome and being such a nice bunch of people.
I lose more than I win people wise but elect few get me!!:beer::beer::money::A

All my OU courses except two short courses have been funded as I don't have a degree and been been earning little enough to be eligible for funding. If I didn't get funded, I couldn't afford to do them, not that it's anyone's business how I have paid for them.

Oops...a BIG spendy day after all (yup, I ordered that laptop!....;)).

So declaring my NSD total for May as 20! :j

DH says he knows of someone who could well want to buy our PC, so perhaps this spending will be offset sooner than I thought!!

As I have spent today after all, I will head off and do a small food shop later. Have to wait until after the fruit loaves have finished cooking though. :D

Milk is the most important thing, along with supplies to make choc. beetroot brownies.....have a coffee morning and an open garden event this coming weekend to bake for! Thought I would bake a big tray of brownies and take half to each. Also may make some buns later too...we'll see how busy I am at work the rest of this week. A couple of the fruit loaves might head off too, if I feel I need to do more.

  • Well, I managed an NSD today (other than nephews birthday present which I budgeted for!) - took my 3 children to an indoor play area (free because my sister in law had taken them there a couple of days before!), visited my parents, saw my nephew so lovely, busy, non-spendy day and I finally bagged NSD 14 :p

DH has just called to say the 2nd interview went well, so fingers crossed :A

A final NSD for May - managed to not go to the shops today with the thought of a NSD in mind. Declaring on for 15/17 NSD May. Missed the target by 2 but the other months targets were 15 so I'm going to stick to that and if I get any more its a bonus :D

See you all on June's thread and hey ho away we go!

Tomorrow is a spend day as need a few bits and some wraps for lunch to use up taken in tuna and salad as I aim to stick to take in to work lunches

It's not in any way relevant. I think you need to keep to the subject of the thread or you are in danger of jeopardising it for all of us.
