@someone earlier on today Good idea for Apps maybe the Free apps don't feel enough but using them before buying Pro Versions good idea and means I can 'spend' without actually spending and gaining another NSD at my worst point of temptation.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Thank you so much for my birthday wishes - muffinman7, BigMammaF, sf, spoon, if, beanie, wouldbequalitymoneysaver, jinty, kathy40uk and Keiss you really put a smile on my faceYou are all lovely! And I had the most lovely day with my family x
Today wasn't an NSD after all as my DH has a 2nd interview for a new job tomorrow and I treated him to a new pair of shoes and laptop bag(he didn't want me to, but I ran off to the till before he could stop me
)
Tomorrow is my nephews birthday so I have put aside some money for his present and that is all I am spending....I'm determined to get to 14Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Downloading FREE Apps on my beloved IPhone 3GS (please folks don't even THINK of buying any less of an Iphone you will regret it if you do) which seem to be Free First then Pay Later Apps hence needing to spend loads on my Iphone which has 144 spaces or 12 apps per page based on 10 pages, limits one is constantly grabbling with to make the most of this thing of beauty and utility. Thank goodness for that, jinty, I thought it was just me:o:oI cant afford an iphone~full stop :rotfl:

Re next month, it depends really on what you’re trying to achieve. My aim was to cut down on trips to the supermarket “for the odd thing or two” = spending at least £20 by the time I’d finished. Have a look at BigMumma’s post, there are some ideas on there.
:j:jPaP - for no 20, that’s brilliant, your target is well and truly smashed now and second prize is making its way to you. Hope you enjoy your coffee with your friend tomorrow.

Well I thought that today was the 1st of June.Turns out it's the last day of May *blushes*.
Today is a spend day anyway. So still at 17 NSDs.Not bad going;it was a bit of a struggle to manage.
Hope you all have a nice day.0 -
Good morning chums!
Well ATM, the sun is shining here and it is a beautiful morning!
Made #14 yesterday!
I was pretty busy at work yesterday but it was good to get stuck in while the office was reasonably quiet. The first day back is always tricky - ploughing through millions of emails before you start is always a challenge!Well done to everyone for the amazing achievements this month. I think we are all rather good!:T
Have a lovely day everyone!:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Good morning everyone
This is the first month that I haven't hit my targetI only managed 15 NSDs this month.
Mind you I've not been lavish or anything (I've been buying bits and bobs cos we are going on hol in the middle of June and there were a few birthdays in May) so I haven't been too bad.
So I have decided to have a month off in June ( from NSDs I mean and then come back bright and bushy tailed in July.)
I hope everyone is keeping well and happy. The sun is shining here (we have had a few dull, rainy days but today looks lovely and I might actually see a bit of it cos I am on lates today (that just means I start at lunchtime and finish at 8)
It also means I get a leisurely breakfast and a nice warm bath rather than a rushed shower (small pleasures):j
Anyway better get on. Have a lovely but frugal day everyone
Cuddles:)
June NSD 8/150 -
Morning lovely NSDers
Well I had a great weekend my little sis. Take That were great on Friday. I went to the butchers to pick up the pork belly that I had ordered, only to be told that they had forgotten to put it by and it had been sold. Apparently I pulled my disappointed face (according to my DH) and the butcher gave me two smaller pieces for free.So that was a 1 kilo of pork for free and the crackling came out amazing!!
I handed in my notice at work and my line manager was very understanding about the situation. So we continued on the meeting and then she asked if I wanted to work remotely as a lot of the work I do just requires a computer. It doesn't really help our current situation as my contract still runs out at the end of August so I am not willing to commit to a new lease without a job in September but my DH is going to see if he's landlord will have the both of us, if we pay more rent. (so fingers-crossed for that) We would have to move very quickly, as I would need to give the notice on this flat next week. But at the moment that is the only solution I can see. Would be great if that could happen, cause we would save a bit of money and get my salary for a bit longer which would ease the pressure. Wasn't really expecting that result. DH is away with work today and tomorrow. So won't find out until tomorrow night at the earliest what the lay of the land is.
Thanks to everyone for their words of support, you have no idea how great it is to have them when you feel so isolated. You guys are the best. :T:T:T
Sunday and Monday were NSD's for me so thats my total up to 19! So I have exceeded my 2nd target. Didn't expect May to be a very good month, with so many birthdays.
Hope everyone had a great bank holiday weekend.

I finally got no 5 on Sunday!!!
Very happy but am hoping to do better next month!! (Which starts tomorrow, can you believe it?!!)Just keep swimming0 -
Sounds like a bit of a bonus Rock_Cakes, if you can still be earning without actually turning up..my kinda job in fact
But then again I've probably misunderstood, so feel free to ignore me..I'm used to it
Perhaps we could arrange a trip to the carousel for Summer Solstice (sp!) instead, as it would give us more time to play :j There seems to be a fair few parks in the West Country, so up at 4 to greet the sunrise at $tonehenge then all aboard the Tardis for wherever; how does that sound?
Grabbed me no 22 yesterday & really not sure what's happening today. Me muvva mentioned something about going for a wander but doesn't seem so keen at the moment, so I'll wait till tomorrow to declare my monthly total.
Why did it feel like a Sunday yesterday, but a Wednesday today :undecided
