Hi All
I did this challenge for a few months last year, just before I brought my house, and now I've settled in I need to start planning my spending again!
So spoon can I sign up again for May (I can't believe its the first of may andthere are 6 pages already!!! I'm going to be reading for a while!)
Can I sign up for 8 NSDs and I'm declaring my 1st for today (I know confident huh!:D)

Have just had my first NSD of the month! Yay! However, it could be down to the fact that I just couldn't be bothered to go out today! :rotfl:
NSD No 1 declared! Another 9 to go to meet my target! Hopefully tomorrow will see me adding another towards my target.0 -
Hi,
Room for a small one?
I used to join in with the challenge a while back but drifted away (sorry ladies!) but would love to drift back if you'll have me?
I really need to be extra careful with money this month - we've just had a load of work done on the exterior of the house and now need to start thinking about saving for some interior decoration (hall and stairs need painting desperately - by my standards not OH's!)
I generally take lunch to work and don't go out that much anymore (getting old!) but do still have sneaky fags and this has to stop - popping in the shop always costs me a fiver at a time - BAD!!!
So, enough woffle, could you please put me down for 8 NSDs?
I will count today as my first NSD- I have spent £1.50 on antihistamines but don't count essential medications. I'll count all incidental spends but not the main food shop of the week, petrol (providing its only petrol and no extras at the garage) and DDs.
Please help keep me on track as my paintwork needs you!
Right off to renew library books online before they get the chance to charge me and ruin a NSD!0 -

Hi All,
Completed my first NSD of the month - 1 NSD down, 19 to go.
Been doing DIY all day and I realised that the white paint I was planning on using was past its best (really foul smelling and watery) Normally I would have rushed out to buy a new tin, but I added a spoon of vanilla essence, gave it an almighty stir (still watery though) and just got on with it.
Also, recycled the old decking from out the back to make some shelves.
Hope everyone is doing as well as they hoped.

Chair? Chair????
Naughty Spoon - you know members of the NSD gang do not qualify for a chair until they have been in for at least six months - till then they have to make do with a nice comfy sharp stick...One life - your life - live it!0 -

Now how did I mess up that quote? I meant to highlight the word chair bit it all went in the likeness of a pear.
Big Mumma - the penny has just dropped, I wondered why people were going on about the 18 loo rolls - no, they are not part of the week's menu, just a tidy little bargain I picked up whilst I was stocking up on food. And I cannot take all the credit for the catering on our outings (thank goodness), it is really all down to Igor. I never know what he is going to surprise us with next.
Profit on today's carboot - £36. Fairly quiet today so all the sellers were given a flyer offering a free pitch for tomorrow, so I and DS will be there same time tomorrow to see what else we can shift.
Now, let's sort this maypole out.....I'll take a green ribbon, who wants a red one? Then there's a yellow, a blue, then another green, red, yellow, blue and so on. And where's the band? Oh no, Igor! You were supposed to book the band! (Sigh....if you want anything doing properly you best do it yourself...) Right now, urgent call out to all NSD gang members - those what are not dancing need to grab a hinstrument pronto and provide the music. (Yes, Lula, there is fizzy stuff available, whole vats of it - Igor was up all last November brewing it for today so it should be well festering in there and strong enough to blow your socks off)
When you lot are all ready and tuned up we will begin. One life - your life - live it!0
