Making mayhem in May with the NSD challenge

Hi,
Another one yesterday so 13 NSD now
Georgie and Spoon thanks for the advice. I did think originally about putting an SOA on here but I feel a bit daft as I don't actually have any of what people would call "debts" I just owe a hell of a lot of money to my dad as he basically made it so I was able to move into my own house! And I have been in and out of my overdraft ever since I moved in due to so much of my wages paying bills! I get like this probably once a month bit glum and woe-is-me (and a tad lonely)! Hormones! :rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok and looking forward to the bank holiday - know I am!

Yesterday was another NSD for me, need to get a bit more organised again on weeknights with food shopping but not doing too badly.

Thanks for the messages ebayqueen and spoon, I know you guys are right just very scary. Letter is printed and I have a meeting this afternoon with my line manager. It will definitely be a weight lifted and then I will work like a mad thing to get a job near my DH. My Lil Sis and partner arrived around 1am. Had to leave them to it, as I had to be at work. But there is so much food in the house that I am sure they will be fine.We are all off to Take That tonight, as I will most definitely be doing the Friday wiggle all night  :rotfl:
I hope everyone has a great day.
xx
Good luck with the meeting Rock_Cakes, I'm sure it will all be fine.
Have a wonderful time at Take That tonight, this tour is supposed to be brilliant, have a wiggle for me:D:D

Hi JCG, SOAs are not just for people who have loads of debts, there are lots of people here who can help you cut down on your spending so you can "pay off" the overdraft bit by bit. They can advise if you're spending to much on utilities, etc, etc. Also, have you tried the old style board - there are some great people on there who can probably help you as well. Maybe start a spending diary as well?
No need to feel lonely, we're all here for you. I think most of us know all about hormones and their effects even if not first-hand then definitely second-hand:D
(((hugs)))

Hi everyone
Well, yestersday I had to get a couple of bits of shopping and then today my best friend took me to a shopping centre and got me a dress for my birthday, but in one of the shops they had citronella candle chiminea things which were really good value so I had to get them......so there is no way i will be able to get 18 NSD's this month nowI should have known it would be tough as I had a lot of social engagements this month because it's my birthday on Monday and I've got lots of lovely friends that I have to see
Anyway, I will still try to get a couple more, but none to report yet - although I can pretty much say for certain that Tuesday will be one...tomorrow I've promised my Ds1 lunch out and Monday we are going to the zoo and then a family meal (DH is paying, so potential NSD there).
Sorry for the essay, but I feel a bit bad that I haven't made it this monthOnwards, though, my fellow NSD'ers!
miss_t - great news about your job
rock cakes - hope you are having a good time with your sis....by now you may have already handed in your notice, but good luck anyway!

Bloomin' brilliant, Spoon! Love it!:T
It's been a busy ole day, A$da first thing and got stocked up - within budget!
Then, I was at the dentist but he didnt take out the roots as I thought - I still have a couple of weeks before I experience that joy!
Took my niece for lunch to Pi££a Hut and we had a lovely time! A good laugh and chat!
Then I had a appt at doc as I've had a really sore hip for the past couple of weeks which no paracetamol or ibuprofen was making any impact. On top of that I had a bad fall on Wed when I was walking the dog and hurt my wrists and lower back.
Turns out I have burstitis on the hip, so heavy duty antiinflammatories for that and referred to the physio for the rest of my back. Gosh, I'm becoming an old crock!;)

I thought I would be having a spendy day today, but I am so tired I couldn't be bothered to go out! So am declaring NSD 21!
My birthday was a quiet day at home as I was working and didn't get in till late and I decided to save the money that we would have spent to put towards paying more off a bill next month. We shall be celebrating in style at the end of the year when we are CC free! Hopefully with my increased pay from September it'll will be sooner but I won't count my chickens before they hatch!0 -
I am now the proud owner of a new box on wheels for the purpose of getting from A to B. I have just been sitting in it, adjusting the seat and mirrors to my requirements. It is one serious grown-up car, and for all it's a few years old it is very classy to look at. It should last me a good few years at least.
So, one happy Nargle in Nargleland. Apart from the fact that I will be working all weekend boo hoo! Still, it does mean I should be able to squeeze in another couple of NSDs. And I am off all next week so will be able to chill out a bit- roll on summer! One life - your life - live it!0 -
If nothing dramatic happens between now and going to bed (which looks unlikely as I think I'll be off fairly soon!) I have another No Spend Day! Woop! 4/8, so improving slowly!
Mr L is away, so just made myself a yummy sweet potato and red lentil curry, and relished in the fact it had no meat in it! Catching up on Two Greedy Italians on iplayer now, and quite sleepy so probably this will be it for the evening... I am such a raver.“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”
