Pants.
Was coming on here to declare a NSD. But just remembered I spent over £60 on fuel - oops. So nothing to declare for me.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

No NSDs to report I'm afraid. Had a couple of small spends yesterday. Spent 3 hours ranting about work with a colleague yesterday. I made up my mind yesterday to give in my letter of resignation tomorrow. My contract finishes in the end of August and I really don't want to stay beyond that. I am finding job hunting difficult as there are quite a few fixed term contracts but they need to start now and I have a two month notice period. The idea is to put our stuff in storage, me to move back with my parents and put everything into the job hunting. Not exactly thrilled with this idea but it has lifted a weight. Just feel a bit lost at the moment and would have liked to be a bit more "settled" at the age of 30. Ho hum.
In more positive mood my Lil Sis is coming up tonight for the weekend. Can't wait! Have been cooking like a mad thing. Hot cross buns and mince for chilli yesterday. Bread and Rhubarb and Ginger Muffins tonight.
Have a great day everyone.
xxHi Rockcakes
Sorry life not treating you well. You seem very determined and organised so all will work out for you. Keep going and I am sure you will get plenty of support from all on this site.
Take care:ARock_Cakes wrote: »Letter is all written and I'll be handing it in tomorrow. Quite nerve racking. I know its the right thing to do but is annoying that it could slow down the paying off of our debts!
xx
Just echoing what ebayqueen said earlier, Rock_Cakes. I'm really sorry you're having a bad time of it but you do seem determined to sort it out - good luck, keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you.
Re your second post, sometimes quality of life comes before paying off debts quicker. If you really hate your job so much now is definitely the time to get out if you can otherwise it will start to affect your health.
Good luck tomorrow, hope it goes OK and have a lovely weekend with your little sis, it sounds fun:T
Take care and (((hugs)))

Hello again,
another lengthy absence I'm afraid, but 3 in a row ( mon, tue & wed) means I'm now just one NSD away from target0 -
Good morning everyone!
I'm running late for work this morning - so just quickly popping quickly in to declare that after Wednesday's food top up, I'm back on the wagon with a NSD collected yesterday, taking my running total up to 22 NSDs.
Have a good day everyone and enjoy that Friday feeling!

Good morning everyone!
Made it #11 yesterday as I didnt spend a bean other than my fares into town. Any more NSD'S will be a bonus, although I'm hoping for a couple.I am working on the BH, so shouldnt spend there!
Today will be a different matter though. I have to do my A%da run this morning, then I have the dentist at 10am. ( three roots to come out:eek:) My niece is popping up to be instructed in dogwalking duties as she is taking over next week when I go back to work.My Mum is on hols and niece is saving to go to London for a weekend so it will be extra pennies for her. I'll take her for lunch as a wee treat for us both.;)
Hope you enjoy your trip Donna!
Have a lovely day everyone!:)

Hya, not been in for a couple of days, so need to catch up later.
Just wanted to say that Wednesday and Thursday were both NSDs, so I have reached my target of 17 NSDs :j.
Spoon, Can you increase my target to 20 NSDs please...surely I can pick up 3 out of the last 4 days of May!! Today will be spendy as I have to stock up the food stores.
Going off to do a stock-take of the big freezer now to see if I need to get anything. Trying to get organized, as have so many things I need to get done this weekend.
Hope all of you are well and wiggling this cloudy Friday morning.
Will pop on later and do a proper catch-up.
Spoon...sorry, no stitching done on Elegant Lady for ages!!!
