Ah yes, that one. I'm afraid I've got that problem with my spreadsheet too. I think it must be a bug with excel, because nothing seems to work on it. :rotfl:
Should we be collectively reporting the glitch to Microsoft and asking for a service patch?
Maybe if they can't comply that nice Mr Gates would like to make a number of small (to him) donations to remedy the problem?0 -

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Why thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Any excel problems, do feel free to ask - I might know the answer, and if i don't, I'll enjoy finding out!
Lois I do have a question actually. I've followed your link back at the bottom of page 10, and love the spreadsheet and charts, but when I click to download it, I can then only see the spreadsheet with the figures and not sheet 2 which is the one with the pretty graphs that most importantly show the balance coming down. Is there a cheeky way in which I can download the whole thing as would like to shamelessly swipe your most excellent formulas and use them for my own calculations. They out my incredibly basic ss's to shame.
Hope you don't mind me asking.0 -

Hmmm. Yes, it does that for me too. I'm afraid I have no idea why. I hope you won't think this is a cop-out, but that's a "google doc problem" rather than an "excel problem", and while I know quite a lot about excel, I know almost nothing about google docs. This spreadsheet is in fact the only document I've ever put on google docs. Perhaps somebody else can help. Or you could PM me your email address and I could email you the actual excel file as an attachment.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

You are up late, Lois. Glad you had a good day,
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Thanks Squirrel. You were up early!
Today has also been mostly a good day. I am tired now, though, and it feels as though there's a lot still to get done before bedtime.
This evening I am thankful for
1) Good thing that happened at work that I'm not going to put on here so as not to identify myself
2) Lovely people who run the group that DD goes to on Mondays
3) Friend liked the birthday present I got for her - I wasn't sure I'd got it right but wanted to give her something really nice even though that meant not entirely playing it safe with the choice of gift
4) Not having to cook because there are plenty of leftovers
5) Got lots done at work today so don't feel it's quite as overwhelming as it's felt for the last few days
Hello to everyone who's been on here recently, and thanks for posting/thanking. :wave:Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
