    Well, I do understand a bit. They have one scheme of work which happens the same way four times a year as the four groups of kids do different kinds of tech. They want them to start with something that's healthy to eat and easy to prepare so they begin with fruit salad. It's still annoying though.

    I think I ate the driver and the people at the front, and still have the naughty kids messing about at the back to eat another time. ;)

    That's what I was just about to say. There are plenty of alternative fruits they could suggest to suit the season or that are more readily available all year round.

    Yep - me too cal:eek: half my colleagues (the jammy seconded ones) get paid early, the permanent ones (aka me!), have to wait another week........

    Ooh, that's weird, not heard of that setup before. At least at my work we all get paid at same time so can moan together!

    It's LA education, so teacher secondment and permanent central staff (who don't receive term time working benefits I may add:p)
