So far it is NOT getting easier as the week goes by. I am soooo tired this evening.
Had a bit of a shock yesterday when there seemed to be a lot less money in my wallet than I thought there ought to be, but found £50 cash on the drawers in my bedroom this morning. I must have got distracted half way through putting it into the wallet.Anyway, it means I won't need to go to the cash point until after my tax credits have been paid in, so I've moved £100 across from my current account to my savings account.

I don't start back at uni til February
Well, you'd better hang onto my best wishes and use them in Feb when needed. Perhaps you can put them in a high interest account and stooze them to get even more best wishes by the time your term does start.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Well, I've finally made time to look into the question of kids' savings accounts and there's not much out there with any signficant interest. I don't want to commit to a regular saver just at the moment, and the best fixes are no better than the best easy access, so I'm going for easy access with the Virgin young saver at 3%. I should be able to get to a branch some time next week, which should make the process easier if I can take all our ID stuff in rather than doing things by post. Wish an online option was available.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

That's not lazy - that's just wisely not wasting energy but instead trying to recharge ready for tomorrow. But then I have to say that because I'm lying on my bed too.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
