Hello,
We missed you. So sorry to hear the news. We do seem to have a growing F I wannabee community here and it would be nice to hear from you from time to time,

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
It's been more than 4 years since I was on here. I think I need to come back, though.
Stuff happened. It's a long story and not something I want to get into on a public forum, but let's just say it involved some very expensive repairs and alterations, and leave it at that.
My family were amazing (again) so I haven't had to borrow at interest, but I do have just shy of £29k of interest-free loans that I need to pay off, gradually. Because the loans were house-related, they live in a "mortgage" box in my brain rather than a "debt" one, IYSWIM. So is it OK for me to come back onto MFW? Will some of you lovely MFW people support me on my journey once again, please?
I'll update my sig later [edit: done now]. For now, I'm just planting a flag by posting this to commit to starting the effort again.
Thank you.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Hi Lois  I remember you from a while back. I had a break of a few years and started a new diary a few months ago. I'm mortgage free but wanted to post on this forum as it felt like 'home'. Everyone has been very welcoming so I'm sure you'll be welcome back too
Sorry to hear that 'stuff happened' and good luck going forward....0 -
