Well, the spreadsheets aren't completely sorted, but the mortgage bit is done. So are the laundry and paperwork mountains - although I've now got more to do to the sorted piles of paper, and there's more washing to do which will refill the pile of clean dry laundry that I've just emptied.

Just nipping out to get one or two things that I want this evening, and then I'll update my sig. I'm saving that until after I've been to the shop and back, though. :)

All mortgage parts of spreadsheet up to date. All mortgage and borrowing parts of sig updated. Another month knocked off my MF date. :)

EF still not up to date, so neutral date not possible to calculate until I've done it.

Oooh this OD thing is exhausting. Typed replies to messages to 6 men this morning. It's very interesting how I type completely different messages in response to the different things they say - in terms of length, depth and subject matter.

Urgently need to get my finances sorted out so I've got the info I need to put my CTC claim in before the deadline on 31/7/14.

    Morning All

Today I need to do lots of laundry, and make myself do that dratted CTC form.

Oh, and for anyone who's interested, I've now had a message from another OD man!

    I am grateful for:
    1) School holidays
    2) Sunshine
    3) Doing fun things with DD yesterday
    4) Compliments from some of the OD men
    5) MCI, Hbbb, Froggy & teapot for posting  and Alchemilla, Froggy, gally, Hbbb, MCI, pink poppy, QBW, Radish, skinty & Tilly for thanking

I find that its difficult to make yourself do something - but when you do (and it turns out not to be so bad) then you feel a lot better.

Tax credits form not as bad as I feared. Spreadsheets were already up to date as far as the end of the tax year, which was all I needed to do my form.

Took a while on the phone. Had to give my NI number, full name, DoB and address with postcode 3 times - to the automated voice, and to two separate HMRC minions, but got it done in the end. The second minion seemed a bit clueless. She told me I'd have to download a separate worksheet from the website to calculate how to deduct gift aid - it only required adding my salary to my "other income" total and then subtracting the GA. I don't think adding two numbers and taking away another one really needs me to print out a whole document with loads of irrelevant boxes and examples about people whose partners had trading losses etc!

Anyway, it's done now. Off to see if the WM has finished, hang up that load and put another load in. :)

Habibiboo - bottom left corner of anyone's post is either a red light or a green light, red = not logged into MSE, green light = means you are logged in
