Busy day planned for today. No actual marking :), but probably some messing about with a spreadsheet (for school, not for mortgage) and lots of washing and sorting of kids' uniform and PE kit, and lots of tidying of the house, which has got into a tip over the school holidays as usual. :(

School v busy as usual for term time. Loads of marking - and will carry on until exam year groups go off on study leave.

Got paid yesterday. :) Extra pension contribution more or less cancelled out by decreased tax due to change in personal allowance, so not much difference overall.

This month's mortgage payment updated on spreadsheet. Have paid another £25 off FL1. :) All stats moving slowly in the right direction but no actual milestones this month.

    Off to update sig. :)

I'm the same re: increase in personal allowance - I come out with an extra £7 a month, but nothing to complain about I guess :)

    Hope you're having a relaxing Sunday :)

Thank you Tilly and Hbbb. I'm OK. Half term has been a much needed bit of down time not doing much. I have to admit, though, that my master spreadsheet with all my money on it is hopelessly out of date - I didn't manage to keep on top of it during the first half of term when all my exam classes were needing lots of past papers marked. And I haven't faced up to the mammoth task of sorting it out yet. :o

I wouldn't worry too much about that :) are you enjoying half term? I can't believe it's almost over already :(

So, term is over and I am back.

Mortgage spreadsheet is hopelessly not up to date. Actually entire money spreadsheet is hopelessly not up to date. Today I was planning to do three things:

    1) Sort and put away mountain of clean dry washing
    2) Deal with mountain of paperwork
    3) Bring spreadsheet up to date

I have done none of them. Instead I have done:

    1) Sleep late
    2) Laze about the place doing nothing
    3) Rejoin online dating website and send off initial contact thingies to a whole load of men, 5 of whom have replied

Will have to try to do the things planned for today tomorrow instead, which will be harder, because I'll be out a lot of tomorrow. So maybe it will have to wait until Monday. :o So don't believe the numbers in my sig - I think they refer to April or some such ancient history.
