Well, I ended the day on 13/17. The four I didn't do were all laundry-related. V glad to have got the rest done. Will have to focus on laundry today, though, or nobody will have anything clean to wear.
Today's list also includes catching up with my banking spreadsheet. My Spanish account should have got its interest and cashback now, so I should have a few ££ to ad to the EF in my sig.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

This month I got £2.85 on a Halifx cashback thingy, £6.89 Spanish cashback, and £8.95 Spanish interest. After deducting the £2 Spanish monthly fee, that leaves me with an extra £16.69 for the EF. Sig duly updated.
Also, the "savings and bills" pot (which resides in my Spanish account along with the EF, to make sure I get the 3% interest) was looking a bit depleted, but there was plenty in my current account. That's because my child benefit and some other money was due to arrive in my current account a few days after my credit card paid itself off by DD, so I'd had to move some across. So anyway, I've been able to move £500 back again, which makes everything look much better.
Not sure what's going to happen when I finally get the first bill for my Spanish credit card, though. I rang them up to change the billing date so that the DD would correspond nicely with when I get paid, and it seems to have meant that I'll have gone 2 months with the card before getting the first bill, so it will no doubt be ginormous.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

I hope you are getting some rest in your holiday.0

Thanks Alchemilla.
Have had a rest for most of today but got stuck into the decluttering in the late afternoon. I've done the whole of the surface of my desk of doom, and am just going to go and watch whatever it is that DD wants me to watch her doing and am then going to start tackling the mammoth pile of boxes next to the desk. :eek:Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

I'm loving the Spanish account Lois and currently using for my next whopping 10% MOP:T I have to say that I do miss the days of child benefit though as spend more money on the little blighters now!
PS. Glad to see that you're still being nutty list ladyFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Thanks natty. I really notice the difference in interest now I've closed my N@tionwide account and put my whole EF in my Spanish account. Miss the 5% I was getting from N@tionwide, of course, but it only lasts for a year.
In other news, the desk of doom is now a desk of delight, and the boxes of bothersomeness that were next to it have now vanished into thin air.Rest of the house still needs work, though.

Sunshine today.
Hope it lasts. Have got a friend's kid coming round to be looked after for the afternoon and would like to be able to send all kids (the extra one and my two) outside for most of the time.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
