    Thank you Tilly. :)

Just wondering... these Americans who keep calling you when it's late afternoon for them... how about if you keep calling them when it's morning here? ;)

In all seriousness, most of the US team will take calls any time after 6am their morning  They seem to think that's normal. I'll schedule calls from 7am my time to suit Asia Pacific but I wouldn't do earlier than that, and certainly not each week :o

It's complete madness and I am really considering asking for redundancy :T

Is asking for redundancy a realistic possibility? What would you do if they agreed to it?

  • Hi Lois, I would accept a package to go. I am not sure what triggered the thoughts initially as there's been a lot going on but it feels positive.

I'm nervous and a little scared but we can manage and we had aimed to be MF end of 2015, as opposed to mortgage neutral now (based on if I was made redundant. The endowment doesn't pay out until next year but we could certainly manage until then.

I have got a lot running through my mind, but I have some time on my side to plan (not loads but some).

It's exciting and terrifying in equal measures

Good luck and enjoy the half-term!! :D

Not done the 'rich dad' thing so no real comments on it other than to say that despite my desire to pay off my mortgage and continue to have enough to cover my bills...there is nothing that I actually want in my life that I don't already have....I am extremely fortunate that I have incredible kids, an amazing husband and sister, fabulous puppies, excellent friends, good to reasonable health, love the place I live and a lifestyle that I wouldn't swap for all the cash on the planet! Hmm...smug mode!! :rotfl:

As for the 'to do' lists (sorry, I've been off the boards for a while and only just caught up!!:o) top of mine is always....'write a to-do list'....makes sure that I achieve something even if I don't get off my backside!!:D
