Having holidays is one of the things I'm economising on, HDK, so it doesn't matter if prices are higher in school holidays if we don't have paid-for holidays anyway. Have some day trips planned for this Easter hols, and will be staying with friends and family over the summer, but nothing with any flights, hotels, etc.
OK, so yesterday's total collapse and do nothing day is over. Time to make a list of things to do today - but just a gentle list this time, not a manic one.
First I'll post some things to be thankful for.
1) School holidays
2) Friend who's coming for the evening tomorrow and other friends we'll be spending the day with later in the week - lovely times to look forward to.
3) Amount of coursework needing marking being less than last year because this year my exam classes are smaller than they were last year.
4) Sunshine - not that there is any just at the moment, but I'm putting it down in faith that there will be some at some point over the next couple of weeks!
5) All you lovely visitors to my diary - too many to list by name but I am grateful to every single one of you who's posted and/or thanked. Do keep dropping by.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Well, lots of items but I break up the big ones into lots of little ones, so the list is longer but I get to feel I'm making progress. Off to do "tidy kitchen" now.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Well, yes, that was one of the bigger things. But I have also just achieved "tidy landing" which took about 2 minutes, and am about to do "submit meter readings" which shouldn't take long.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
