Plumbing Adaptor

Hi all and thanks again for your help.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to undo the compression nut mainly due to the limited access. Frustrating as I had bought the parts.
I have since found this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NICKEL-PLATED-BRASS-3-4-BSP-MALE-FEMALE-ELBOW-NEW-/250805967185?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a65335951
I think it does exactly what I need as per my original intended solution - simply turn the 3/4 bsp inch 90 degrees. Seems a much easier solution!0 -

You stand a chance with plenty of thread seal but I wouldn't.
Also the male thread is likely to cut into a washer & leak after not long at all.Not Again0 -

I am looking for something which I'm not sure exists.
Eg similar to the Y piece adaptor here
http://www.4cleanerfloors.net/cgi-bin/product.pl?PID=213690&query=FLDPLUMBING%20FLDTAPSADAPTORS&path=66991,325402:325429,513505
But it does not need to split in two & it should be n shape. Eg, fits to the thread facing up and leaves a thread facing down.

When did you move the goalposts??

yes, I did move the goalposts, but I could of course buy two so it would face down. The valve will only be turn on when using the hose so a leak will not be a major issue. A lot less than if I cause a leak forcing the compression nut off and not doing a good enough job with the modification.0

Hi,
And it'll have a double check valve too won't it?

I told you you could use 2 compression elbows. If you are going to use 2 of these you might as well do it properly.
By the way you are wrong about the leak. Rubber washers on those connections wear, especially under pressure. If you are connecting a pressure washer or plan on using a hosepipe regularly then it only a matter of time. Not Again0
