Used £6 worth of vouchers and a £4 off £40 spend in my local Tescos today without any problems. :)
  • i went to my main tesco in suffolk and they accepted the health and beauty ones but the computer wouldnt let her scan any more kept saying voucher not ready to use, i was as confused as she was.
i went to my other tesco and they took them all no questions asked. the only difference was i used my clubcard in the 1st shop and not 2nd shop so im not sure if it has anything to do with it?

Tesco in Droylsden or Burnage in Manchester won't take them unless you buy the itme and Asda at Eastlands in Manchester will only take a max of 10% of bill

  • it does seem to be hit and miss a while back i could hand over as many as i had... but now its suposed to be 10% but this does vary from sa to sa...

so as loads of peeps have said before on this type of thread... if they do except them brilliant.... but if not.. well there's allways another day with another sa.....

today i had over 50% excepted in money off coupons.....

but i have read some where on these boards.. it is up to the store manager how many vouchers they will accpet in one transaction.......

try going to a diff tescos... and see what happens

i agree its very hit and miss so far ive been extreemly lucky and had all m vouchers at my tescos excepted(maybe they dont mind vouchers as they are very sharp on R and R!!)
im very grateful that my vouchers are accepted at the moment as my budget for food is only £30 so i can "overshop" with my vouchers and stock up on nappies and wipes for dd.

  • I am still having vouchers accepted. Tend to use young checkout operators. They even took the out of date Asda ones which are scanning at the extra discount. However, occasionally someone says no and I give in gracefully. it tends to work more if you have at least one voucher for what you are buying.

So, are these being accepted at the self-scan tills please?
  • I managed to get my shopping down from £127 to £87 and then R&R £60 so infact it only cost me £27!! Like everyone says I think it depends a lot on the sales assistant and your manners!
