Help! Canceling contract need help!

What would the point of a contract be if it wasn't legally bindinancg?! If you could just get out of a contract because you don't want to pay it, so could anyone else and mobile operators would be unable to survive. Even PAYG users have a contract that determines the obligations of the service provider and user.0

When the contract is about 18 months in, take it to phones4u, they often buy people out of contracts but are limited to how much they will buy out. Also will only buy you out of a contract if your going to sign up to a new one there and then with them. They will take the sell-out offer into consideration and you may not get as good a deal.
Good will guesture would be cutting back on the contract fee but also reducing your contract deal so maybe 100 mins a month rather then 1000 for an example as they can see you have a service that you can't use.
I had problems with no signal with 3, they wouldn't let me out of my contract early what so ever and they had more errors and (as described by the 3 person who 'interviewed' me about why I was leaving) "Unethical behaviour" (funny, no one bothered to listen to me before when I explained to them!) yet still I had to ride out all 18 months of the contract. Not all phone companies are so nice so remember when your asking, its begging! Your really looking for them to be nice to you, seriously, consider yourself lucky if they do help!0
