    Morning all

Well that was an interesting night eh - will have to go out and identify my bin from the pile in the middle of the close soon I suppose - will have to get dressed first though dont want to go scaring the natives:D

Been mooching on here for a while whilst I wait for the supermarket to open - doing another Sunday roast today for a different mate but think I will just do the same as last time (all recommended on OS) I know its boring but it was sooo gorgeous.

    Beef Wellington
    Gravy
    Yorkshires
    Foriestere (sp!) Potatos and mash
Carrots with honey and sesame seeds
    Leeks/cabbage/sprouts/onions fried together with cashews
and some sprouts for me cos i love em:D
    Apple and Blackberry crumble

After the shop Im going to have a bit of a clean then maybe and at this stage it really is maybe think about putting my tree up.:xmastree:

To be honest theres not a huge amount of point as I am away all next week and the weekend too but on the other hand if I dont do it today it wont get done until the day Im having a party (week on Saturday) so that will be a bit of rush. (decisions decsions!!)

anyway supermarket now open so best get a boogie on

    Have a lovely day all

    Nels xx

    Hi all :hello:

Woke up to find my garden furniture - 4 chairs and a not very small table - had gone:eek: They are only plastic and I found them all hiding in various bushes and trees in the garden!

Anyway - have located most of my missing xmas pressies - just have 2 books for DS1 to find, but they will do for his birthday if I can't :) He's currently getting to grips with fractions - didn't know they still taught them LOL

Today we have to go into town as the library books are due back. Will get a few bits and bobs from Lidl on the way home and then I too am doing roast goose for tea :D Laundry is washed and dried but will be ironed tonight and downstairs needs a quick vac.

Spent HOURS yesterday sorting through the boys' rooms. It's helped by the fact DS2 decided what he was going to give away for "the babies" so I have 3 carrier bags of rubbish and 3 recycling bags full. It's amazing that once you put all the toys back where they belong, it only takes half the space up :rotfl: I'm sure that santa will bring more stuff to fill it up :o

Right, homework finished so we'll have a quick snack and head off into town.

Have a great sunday and ((hugs)) to everyone.

    Morning everyone :)

Had a late night last night and a lay in this morning, so feeling quite good, although we all feel like we have something on us, just not enough to know what it is.

I loved watching Take That on TV last night, how good was Gary Barlow (he was always my favourite!). I'm hoping they do another concert before we go to Oz as we would definitely go. Thanks Crazychik I will watch I'm a celeb tonight.

My deep cleaning is continuing today. I just have the basement to do which is where our kitchen is. Oh and I are off to New York on tuesday and we told our children the other day. I thought the fact that my parents are coming would be exciting for them but they are quite upset, so we might put some of our christmas decorations up today to cheer them up. OH and I can't wait though! (I've never been away from the kids before).

Have a good day everyone :)

    :hello:OS'ers :hello:

:grouphug: for those who need one:grouphug:

Improvement continues, got up this morning and cooked bacon tomato and fried bread to eat with the left over haggis from Friday, very tasty. Still not really got my appetite back, but can do with loosing the weight....

Bright morning after a very windy night, woke me battering at the front window about 3.30. When I went to put the track suits on the line I found the dustbin blown over, glad it was emptied on Friday, no rubbish strewn about.

Sun shining right now, still quite a stiff breeze blowing hopefully will dry the washing. Yesterdays dried on the line, brilliant!!!!

    going for a :coffee: (tea)

    See ya'll later...................

Queenie Your talk of the Dickensian Christmas sounds exactly like the parade we used to have when I lived in Lymm. I used to love it - and the May Day Parade, neither of which they have down here - all we get now is "Carnival" :(

Tired Mum I have a memory foam mattress and I luuuuurve it. There will be no going back to a sprung mattres ever again. You'll have to change your name now :D

Stayed up until 2am last night - finished typing up James Martin though :j. I think its a good book - full of yummy, delicious recipes which are easy to do - the best bit is that each of the recipes has a little story attached - where it came from (usually a family member) etc.

OH worked last night so is currenly sleeping. I am eating my own weight in porridge. Think I'll make him an all day breakfast butty when he wakes up. Washing is drying.

Today...I could do the ironing. I could start 'deep cleaning' the flat before my decs go up. But I don't wanna!!! *throws tantrum* So, I'll probably just play around on here all day and worry about how much I've got to do next week :)

    Have fun!

Edit: Because you can't read my mind, its James Martin's 'Great British Winter Cookbook' - with a fine picture of him in tweeds sitting atop a pile of potatoes in a haybarn on the front!

Afternoon everyone, what a miserable day it is outside, hoping to enlist the help of at least one of my children today in sorting the sitting room out and getting the toys, books etc shifted upstairs. Then we can put some cheesey Christmas music on tonight when DP gets home and get the decorations up. Washing machine and drier been on all morning.Going to try out my new slow cooker today aswell, best get that on actually. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday :)
One day I might be more organised...........
