Need some help hiring a car in Spain

    That seems very reasonable, about as cheap as you'll get. I've had cars from Goldcar at a couple of locations in Spain and they have always been pretty new with low mileage.
    Watch that they don't persuade you to take their "Relax" full extra cover insurance as from the Auto Europe site it seems that they will reimburse you for any glass or tyre excess claims.
    Last year at Murcia the guy at the desk spent five minutes trying to tell me that unless I took the Relax insurance for €5 a day I would not be covered for anything where in fact it is just the usual tyres, glass, loss of keys etc that wasn't covered by the no excess CDW and theft that was included in the booking. They must get a good commision for selling it!
