£5 CDWow voucher (EXPIRED)

I ordered a DVD using the £5 discount, still had to pay a bit, and have been sat for 3 days watching my 'blue' order yet to be despatched - now it has disappeared completely.
I did get the order confirmation, but haven't received one yet to say it has been either despatcheed or cancelled. It has just disappeared.

Yes I accept that I don't have a Capital One account and therefore shouldn't have been using the code, but given that CDWOW issued the code, and must have known that even Capital One customers would pass it on to family and friends, I am rather miffed that I ( an existing CDWOW customer) who didn't order 300 items for a grand total of £0.00 have had my ONE order cancelled, when trusting to SODS LAW, those who ordered dozens will no doubt be raking it in on ebay within the week !!
The last code I had for either CDWOW or the like was for gas/electric customers - of which I was one, and therefore used the code in full compliance of the terms and conditions. But if I remember correctly, posters said it didn't matter which rubbish account number people put in, they still got the discount, irrespective of whether they were a bone fide customer or not.

I AM grateful when I do benefit from these codes, but it is just I had spotted a DVD my son had put on his Xmas list....and I had got my hopes up that I could finally get something right......foiled again !:cool:

i dont think they have cancelled them i think they just have a prob as i said before the whole of my order is missing from end of oct onwards and in the last 2 weeks have ordered u2 album for hubby cars dvd for son and a few others and they r all missing not just my order with the code so i think its just a tech glitch

Same here - £11.75 deducted from bank (order was for a GBA game for DD)
but there is no order on the screen - just have to sit tight I suppose.

Some you win some you lose - will be watching account to see if money is refunded !

Don't worry about it. If they cancel your order, complain and they may honour it. CDWOW have always been good in my experiences.

Mines the same although I have past orders missing as well that I’ve defiantly received and one in particular I’m listening to right now. I only had one voucher but if they cancel they cancel. It was worth a try. It's sods law though that those that abused the voucher will be getting multiple items go through, but that’s life unfortunately.
