Your link doesn't work for me- but when I clicked on the one on the first page of this thread (hadn't realised this was an oldie) it did work so you might want to swap the link.
edit: this link works for me http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-33428201.html0 -
You should have moved your towels and oven gloves, and all the lamps on during the day make me think that your flat must be dark. Why is there a fruit bowl on the hob?0
-
I think it's very nicely presented. The kitchen picture maybe doesn't quite do it justice. According to the room measurements, it's 8 ft wide, but I can only see about 5ft of the width. Apart from that it all looks great to me.
Edit: I can't quite see what's hanging down from the cooker hood. I liked the fruit bowl on the hob btw.
Good luck. In the end it's 5% presentation, 90% being in at about the right price, and 5% luck.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Hi Caroline
Just thought the room looked a lot brighter and presentable with more lights on. The front of the flat is full of sunshine all the time as it faces the sun, so def not dark in there!
The fruit bowl lives on the hob! lol. Its where we've always kept it!
GB - thanks for your comment, I will try and take a pic from the other side of the kitchen so you can see the area where the fridge is etc.Saving like a looney for a juicy deposit and fees!Goal £8,000 by March 2012[STRIKE]Jun 2011 - £5095.50[/STRIKE][STRIKE] Aug 2011 - £5995.78[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sep 2011 - £6209.76 [/STRIKE]Oct 2011 - £6409.76 :beer:0 -

I agree with Caroline that it looks strange that the lights are on especially as it is daytime and I think people will assume that the room is dark.0 -

Hi there
What's a bee viewer? Sorry am confused, is there a problem?
Property bee is a program which hacks right move and other property sites. It gives the viewer potentially key information on now long listed, changes to price and description.
In brief it gives a buyer key info and potential insight to the sellers state of mind.

Its pretty much essential for buyers these days.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

Hi, I read your thread yesterday and it has been nagging away at me since!
Firstly - I really feel for you, I think you have been caught in a very rotten situation. You thought you were getting a good deal - which given the prices of the other blocks of flats - you were and then you got done over by who ever built the flats in the first place.
If I were you I would do one or two things - firstly, don't panic! You only want to move to start a family (Stress doesn't helo in theat department!) and you say that wont be for another couple of years. So, you could ride the storm out a little and see how the market is looking in a couple of years?
Secondly, I think the real issue when selling will be that it wont be another couple like your selves who buy. I for one sould not consider an apartment where all the others are owned by a housing agency. I know that is snobby, but I suspect you will find it a problem. I would really follow up on the people who own the other flats - it may pay to wait a while if you are in no rush. Otherwise I suspect it will be landlords who will be considering your home - target them? Try approaching letting agencies, seeing if they know of investors who might be interested?
Thridly, I would pay off my mortgage once you have enough to move put away. You wont earn much interest on savings and paying less on your mortgage seems most senisble.
We sold our own house - it requires lots of promotion, free websites, local paper, facebook, contacting all the people you know and asking them to pass the word on. We did have to take a big hit on the price, but that was just as the recession really started. It hurt, but hey ho, that is the reality. I owned that house for 10 years and bought it for £44000 (!) and sold it for £135000 - see, time can help!
Good luck with your sale - what will be will be and you cna't force things, but you can help them along a little!
Megan
ps - with reference to Zoopla I always check up on properties I'm interested in as a guide price. I know it is not alway accurate, but I do find it just as accurate as the estate agents!May GC - £100 per week
