Thank Zoe, I have decided my dream job would be an MSE wedding planner. I got my rings from thebeautifulcompany in the end. I had lots of communication with them first and after telling them about my very tight budget they gave me 10% off my order. The communication was fantastic and would definitley recommend them. Need to post a review on their site too. HTH

hi hun - well done for your budgetting so far!! you can buy flowers from e-bay they would be cheaper and put them together yourself. That's what I have done and for £37 I have made 4 bridesmaids bouquets, a flower girl basket, 9 button holes and a larger brides bouquet xx I used sarahrichards on ebay xx

Hi winterbride, I did post a thread asking for help to buy foam flowers and quantities etc but didnt get many replies, Any ideas about what I would need to buy would be gratefully received. Definitley doing flowers myself, really looking forward to it now i have made my mind up. £37.00 that is amazing xx

The bridal workshop sell loose foam roses, you can order a sample to check the colour etc, go on ebay and search for foam roses, thats how i found the ones i liked, alternatively, there will be people selling their bouquets second hand, and you might get a bargain. Thanks for the hugs btw!! I liked the mixture of foam and silk in my bouquets, i bought extra diamante on sticks and wove them in as well, and a couple of butterflies for my daughters bouquets.

No problem themull, we all need hugs from time to time, do you have any pictures you wouldnt mind sharing, they sound lovely. I am also having a butterfly theme so would love to see what they look like. Never thought of mixing the flowers either will look into that too.

Organza chair sashes are cheap on ebay- I ordered 20 for a few pence under £20 delivered from China- came within about 2 weeks. The woman I used was vlovelife- very reasonable and loads of different colours. Nice quality. HTH

Hi Winterbride can I ask where you got the memorial candle from? Have thought about having one for my dad whos passed away! The photos are gorgeous, love the snowflakes.
I am getting married start of 2013 and havent even begun looking yet, so far I have a card postbox and ladies favour bags as they were massive bargains that I couldnt pass up on! Our colour scheme is chocolate and cream, although I dont really have a theme. Our budget will be approx £4000! Hoping to make as much as I can, so far planning on makling:all stationery including table plan, favours (keyrings with charms for ladies and box of scottish fudge for men), table centres, candy buffets, all flowers, and would like to attempt 4 flowergirls headbands as well although that might be a bit adventurous!
Ideas, help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!
