Well...we set the date last August, but it's only definitely been happening for about 4 months now. We had to sort out some boring financial stuff first. Have to say that now the ring is on it's way, I am finding it much harder not to shout about it.
Also pretty tempted to just grab the box and refuse to give it to H2B, got a feeling he will not let me wear it until he 'officially' proposes with it :rotfl:
Anyway, kind of dreading getting weighed in tomorrow, will let you know how it goesSaving for wedding 25 August 2013£1,090/£6,000Wedding Diet7lbs lost , 33lbs to go0 -
I need a kick up the behind! I had such a bad weekend - which then carried on to last night. I was good through the day, but then I ate 4 - yes, 4- muffins when I got home. I felt so guilty afterwards, so I'm going to be good today and I've got military fitness tonight so going to work as hard as I can to limit the damage!0

I have booked a taster session with the PT at my gym for Thursday.
try n give me a kick up the !!!! Also walking to and from work this week- lovely weather, I have to walk across the park cos the bus isn't running cos of Olympics! Half an hour each way in this heat has to count! Apart from it means u can't be bothered to go tithe gym afterwards!

I am doing really badly...as usual!
I have upped the exercise since finishing for the summer holidays and hopefully it will make a difference - I am really feeling it, anyway! I'm not expecting to lose over the summer - I just want to try and do damage limitation really, to minimise the amount I gain. Then come September it's all guns blazing - particularly as I am going part time at work so will have much more time to exercise! (in theory...)0 -
I went to zumba last night and actually enjoyed it!
Swimming tonight and out for a walk tomorrow
Determined to get another half stone off preferably before the first dress fitting - 16th August!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -

Wow you are doing so well! :j I'm really hoping that when it gets a bit nearer and I have the motivation of dress fitting etc I will go at it a bit more...I think it's just that right now it feels so long away for me!
I bought the 30 Day Shred exercise DVD and have been doing the Level 1 workout. WOW - I can certainly feel it. Hopefully it will do some good!0 -
I think I can lose another half a stone by the end of August - it'll be hard though, got nights out every weekend - think I'll just need to give up drinking enitrely! And live on salads. And cut out muffins.
74 days left!! <<< This is what's scaring me!!0 -

I lvoe the 10 min DVD's - just a quick 10 min exercise before bed every night - and going to try and start doing them in the morning too!
My DVD player broke on me - so I haven't been able to do them for a few days, but have just ordered a new one!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
Just thought I'd post again to bump this back up to the first page.
Weigh in this morning and I've actually hit 8 stone something for the first time in about 15 years! (8stone 13 to be exact)
Only another 6lbs to goal.
Joined the local gym too as they had a special offer on over the school holidays; they do a class called deep water aqua aerobics which is basically aqua aerobics but with weights which sounds...errm interesting. Brings back memories of diving to the bottom to fetch a brick.
How is everyone else getting on in the heat? Do you find it easier or harder to keep to a healthy eating/drinking regime????0 -
Well done Katey! That is where I want to be in 20 days! Don't think it's going to happen though! :rotfl:
I stayed the same this week, though did drop .03 of a BMI point! So at least the numbers are heading down!
I find it hard to stick with my eating habits in the heat, but in a good way! My longing for chocolate / crisps / chips goes out the window- fruit juice, ice lollies tend to come in.unfortunately so does ice cream though... Not so healthy!
