Thanks Jo.
To be honest, whilst I'm upset I probably didn't actually deserve to loose at all this week after a weekend of .
So guess its nose to grindstone now and really push myself to shift some more. As I say would love to get down to 8.5 stone (which for 5ft person like me is fine), but that just isn't going to happen in 5 weeks. Just as much as I can I guess. Also need to up the exercise and tone up after all its not all about the numbers I guess.0 -
Well so far so good... I have resisted the team Friday breakfast run to the cafe - though nearly gave in at the small of the bacon sarnies. Had blackberries instead. have had my chicken salad and an apple as well now. Feeling quite please with myself.0

I have had THE crappiest week. Work is !!!!, I have a MOUNTAIN of stuff to do for the wedding and my florist cancelled this evening's appointment! I've only exercised once and I haven't been eating all that well.
The only plus is that I haven't had a drink, and I am staying off booze till the wedding to save calories. No amount of peer pressure from OH will persuade me to change my mind about that!!!

Aww poor youWell done on the not drinking though! Don't worry about how much you've got to do...I'm sure you'll get through it and it will all be worth it on the day!
My week has been bad too (since the weekend, which was amazing). Have done no exercise, have eaten TERRIBLY, and have been fed up and miserable. OH is away on business and the weather has been cr*p and I have had mountains and mountains of marking hanging over me, of which I will have barely done halfI was really pushing through the last 7 weeks looking forward to a real rest and break at half term but it hasn't felt like much of a break at all. You know when you've got loads of work to do and even the times when you're not actually working feel stressful because you're thinking about it and aware you have to do it? My health is soooooooo much better now and I'm even coming down off the medication which is awesome
but I'm still tired a lot of the time and struggling with work. Which makes me glad I'm going part time in September!!! Just have to get through the next 6 weeks now....and maybe try to lose some weight?!?!?!?!?!

Hi Guys,
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Mine was ok and I have been quite good. Well very foodwise. Have even doen some exercise... nothing to compare with all you lovely ladies at the gyme, but good for me - exercise Dvd and some other exercises that I could do indoors around the rain. All great till FIL2B and one of MIL2B appeared mid squat :rotfl:
Have had fruit and natural yoghurt for brekkie and chicken salad and an apple for lunch. Have a fruiy yog for later. Not sure what dinner is going to be though.
Really want a decent loss this week0 -
Hi Guys,
Where is everone????
Well, dress fitting is now 12th July and can't be changed again. Wedding 25th August. I am 3.5lbs away from losing 2 stone. In the ideal world I wanted to be 3.5 - 4 stone lighter by the wedding, this is obviously not going to happen. But I have a plan. I am going to keep following the SW plan, but also aim to grab as much exercise as I can in the next few weeks. Hopefully that should help tone up some of the wobbly bits. Guess it might mean I put on some lbs but should lose some inches and should be good in the long run. Am hoping that its not just about numbers on the scale, but the way you look too.
Any thoughts/advice welcome0 -
Hey Hadley,
I'm here. I have a dress fitting scheduled for next Wednesday for my 11 August wedding. I am 2 lbs off the target I set for myself at the moment...but got my hen weekend this weekend, so who knows what state I'll be in this time next week! I think you are right, it is definitely more how you feel and I find I feel good if I eat well, so am focusing on that at the mo...trying to eat lots of fruit and veg and wholegrains. Might get another 2lbs off I suppose if I eat well during the week and just drink at the weekend!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
My savings: £4878.54/£7000
Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000
Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)0 -
I am back home until Thursday, n scared to show my face on here cos I have just made a white choc buttercream cake!:T0

Hi Hadley
Ive been avoiding this thread out of shame as I have had a really terrible few weeks eating everything in sight and not exercising at all! But am now back on the diet as of last week so looing forward to a weigh in on Thurs (fingers crossed!)
Sounds to me like you have done terrifically well to lose 2 stone and you still have a bit of time to lose a bit more and tone up as you say. I definitely think it is more about how you feel and look than what the number on the scale is (for me its just an easy way to see whether I have actually lost anything in the early stages but If i didnt feel fat and wobbly I wouldn't care!)
I went for my first dress shopping the other day and think I might have found the one - I was so surprised by how sucked in it made me feel and looked that I felt like maybe I didnt need to worry so much about weight - definitely want to tone my arms though and try and get rid of my double chin!!Becoming Mrs L. Aug 2013!

Total to lose - 24lbs
Lost so far - 14lbs

Hi all, I am back on track! My weight loss has stalled in the last month or so, but I have been off all carbs, sweet stuff and alcohol since the weekend and have lost 1lb already! I've cut back to around 1,000 cals day. I am in total 'wedding dress' mode and I admit that I am crash dieting right now, but I want to look good in that dress on 14 July and will go back to sensible eating afterwards. I'm also doing weights and cardio, and have just bought cho-yung tea from H&B which is meant to be fab for weight loss. Here's hoping!!! I so want to lose half a stone in the next few weeks - it'll be a challenge but doable. I'm currently 9st 11lbs and want to be 9st 4lbs by the wedding.
My dress fitting has been moved to next Wednesday (20th) - eek!!!! Pressure! :eek:Aww poor youWell done on the not drinking though! Don't worry about how much you've got to do...I'm sure you'll get through it and it will all be worth it on the day!

The weather was crap too over the BH weekend, so maybe that's why it felt like less of a break? Hugs, and thanks for the kind words.Hi Guys,

Hey, you have ages compared to me!!! You can do lots in the 10-11 weeks that you have left. You've already done amazingly to lose almost 2 stone and do not forget that. :T
