Argh that's annoying jo! How long does it normally take? Public transport is great when it works but horrendously sh*t when it doesn't!!

Oh no Jo what a pain! Hope you have calmed down now and either gone home to relax or are exercising the stress out.

Oh how rubbish! Raisins are good tho, nice and healthy! If it was me it would have been something much more fattening!

I don't really have a target weight as such, I hate weighing myself. I'm five foot ten so not ever going to be light. And although quite thin there are areas I don't like. At the moment I am trying really hard with what I eat... Not perfect all the time but deffo improving! And trying to tone different areas at the gym. Trying to go before work with my fiance, means getting uo at 6 not 7 ... Quite difficult!

It usually takes half an hour or less. Well I went to the gym, didn't do my whole program though. Debating whether to go tonight. I don't have my gym stuff with me, so will have to go home first- which doesn't really matter as it was taking so long anyway. But my shoes (2 pairs) have arrived and I want to wear them around a bit to see which are more comfortable...

    Not really jo! lol!

I weighed myself this morning 'just to see' and have lost a couple of lbs. It's frustrating that the only way I seem to be able to do this is by just eating one meal a day :( I haven't eaten anything yet today. I'm still not well enough to exercise and am just about managing to work part time and then collapse the rest of the time. I'm really really hoping that when I come off this medication the weight will start dropping off. I've never found it this hard to lose weight before.

That does seem really odd Daisi. What kind of mediation are you on that is causing it? Is it painkiller/ antibiotic based etc? One meal a day does seem to be a very weird way to loose weight, do you not get starving?
If your still not able to exercise don't push it, I would just try and keep my activity level up at the weekends.

But well done on the lbs! :)

It's called amitriptyline, it's technically an anti-depressant but I'm on it for neuropathic pain. My neurologist says the only way to not gain weight on it would be to not eat!
