Fudges are so yummy aren't they! We still have loads of food to tempt us in the flat. Have a box of chocs, loads of jelly beans, after eights and a tin of quality street still from christmas plus have some ferrero rocher the wedding, 2 malteser easter eggs & two bags of mini chocolate eggs from easter, plus a box of fudge! Too much temptation!!
Oh well I will stick with my salad...must loose the honeymoon lbs! heehee. may weigh myself on friday too so that i am back in sync with everyone here. also quite like having a few days to counteract any badness at weekends.0 -
Yes, I feel I need that! Although I also never count the weekends as diet days, so fri, sat & sun I don't worry too much, then I only have Monday- Thurs left!:T0

I am good monday to fri lunch time haha. And then relax a bit more at weekends and fri eve. Its much easier to be good during the week. I also think it is more realistic and easier to stick to if you are good in the week but allow yourself some movement at weekends.
My salad really isnt very filling0 -
Think I have that problem too Jo. i do treat the weekend as diet days but then to be less worrie about what goes in my mouth.
then as you say worry that its only a few days then to be good each week. have to get out of that mind set and be good all the time as only have till the last week of June before that 1st fitting.
very stressed with wedding planning and getting the invites out - stress is not agreeing with me, its makeing me want to eat.0 -
Aw Hadley
I know what you mean, any time I read something wedding-related that says that the weight will just fall off you in the weeks leading up to the wedding because you'll be so busy and stressed, I think 'Yeah right - stress makes me eat MORE not less!"
I have had some cereal for breakfast and am thinking about fruit for lunch, though it's not very appealing. Dinner will be a tiny jacket potato, chicken breast and broccoli. Again not too thrilling!0 -
OOhhh not long now Hadley. You looking forward to wearing your dress again? I can't wait to get mine back from my FIL, he has a load of the wedding stuff as he very kindly drove it back with him. May just wear my dress round the house heehee.
Poor you feeling stressed Hadley, anything we can help with? I am the same; when I am stressed (or tired or upset etc etc) I want to eat. Not good.0 -
I am meeting a seamstress in 2 weeks! not going to get anything done yet (apart from hopefully get my bolero started/ designed) as I want to loose more, but I'm really hoping the seams can be taken out so there is no stress!:T0

jumping in on the thread as an Oct 12 bride....in reality I am 10 stone overweight (ok, 11 stone!) but I have set my target as 2.5 stone off by the time of the wedding. Achievable going on past 'attempts' of weight loss and as I have my dress I need to ensure I can get into it comfortably rather than it feeling as if it is cutting me in half at the moment!
Have tried all diets over the years and am going to go for the simplest - calorie counting. Am using Food Focus as an online log (its a free diary/weight recording tool) and it says that I will reach goal on 31 August if I stick to 1437 calories and have a 2 pound per week loss.....not a good start yesterday with home made rhubarb crumble to 'use up' but I HAVE to do it!!"Stay Wonky":D

Hello fellow Oct bride!
I am also calorie counting, although I am also taking some of the no s diet with it... Mostly the 'except days beginning with s' part. (basically I don't cal count on Sat, Sun or Special days (birthdays etc).):T0 -
Hey Burlesque Babe and welcome to the thread
Everyone is really friendly and give encouragement. I am no longer a bride to be
as I am a wife!! yay. Got married 2 and a half weeks ago and am trying to loose the 6 lb I put on while on honeymoon (plus the other 1.5 stone I still had to loose).
