Hope you all had good weekends. Mine was rather naughty - a few too many glass of red wine. So on the straight and narrow for the next few days.

Thanks guys I am thrilled about the jeans! (even tho I put on weight this week.) but am going back to the gym now, I really missed it.

I also tried my dress on this weekend . I forget how beautiful it is! I can now get the buttons done up to just passed my waist, but there is still a way to go to button the top bit... So carry on enthusing me! :rotfl:

One week to go!

The diet has sort of come to a halt. I eating to stay the same right now (even though I still need to lose loads). I'm just too excited to eat boring food. Plus once my parents arrive, I will be eating in a few restaurants.

Really annoying. Somehow the picture of my dress was copied onto the PC clipboard and my OH thought he copied something but didn't and when we pressed paste, my dress appeared. So he saw it briefly. I don't remember copying the picture recently so I have no idea how it got onto there.

(If you don't mind I will be staying after the wedding too... 2 weeks of all-inclusive food and drink will not be good...)

i've lost a pound too

i'm on tablets for the next few weeks so no booze which helps. Was at a wedding do saturday evening and the only thing i ate was fruit salad as i felt a bit icky and two glasses of diet coke.

How many buttons have you got left to go johanna, i'll be expecting a button countdown as you can fasten more.

I ordered my dresses this weekend from Monsoon (claire i think it is called) in two sizes as I'm not sure what i'll be. The one I won't wear can be sold on Ebay. Hopefully one of them will fit.

Well there are LOADS of buttons on the dress! So about 10 to go! :rotfl: I seem to be quite a bit bigger on top than the dress allows- but at a c cup still below average! Any ideas how to drop a cup size?! :rotfl:

I have just booked in my dress at a dressmaker suggested on here. She said to bring my shoes (which I don't have) and my underwear (which I also don't have). I have ordered some shoes though, so hopefully one pair will be ok! Meeting on the 16 May, so 2 weeks. :j

so long as you have the right heel height you should be OK, obviously it is best to have the right shoes to be sure.

Yeah, looking at a medium height heel. But I wasn't planning on getting my underwear until much nearer the time, I have already dropped one dress size, and I want it to fit! :rotfl:

Well 16th may is 2 weeks, so I would like to be under 9 1/2 st.

How fantastic Jo. a button countdown sounds a good way forward. i don't have shoes either... panic panic.

Does anyone know roughly how many sizes a dress can be taken in?? Know it will depend on the dress, but a rough guide would be useful. My dress is a size 14 (it fitted when i got it) and i have already lost just over 1.5 stone and am still losing. Wanted to lose about 3 - 3.5 stone in total, but am a now a little worried that might be too much.

I think it depends... Has it got a lot of embellishments crystals etc? Because I think that makes it harder. I have heard 2 sizes is usually ok.

Thanks Jo. The bodice is very detailled and the skirt is ruffly (Spanish looking) so i'm thinking that might also cause problems. Not sure for that matter how much a dress size is in weight - i.e. is a stone a dress size???

Oh, if anyone is interested my dress is White rose R429 - not sure I can add a link - but feel free to google.
