i'm slimming for my wedding next May Daisie so 14 months still to go, but I want to lose it before so I can be the size I want for my holidays this year, and then hopefully maintain that weight. Makes life much easier for dress fittings too.
I find it much easier when it's light nights as I tend to be doing stuff rather than stuck inside watching telly/facebook.When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle.
:whistle:0 -
Yay Brightside yours is even further away than mine
how much are you hoping to lose, if you don't mind me asking? I'm not sure if the light nights will help me...as they're more likely to encourage us to go to the pub! lol!

I started loosing weight at the end of last january but we didn't decide to get married till last july so it wasn't for that just knew I needed to change my habbits. I like to think I am not on a diet as such more of a change of eating patterns. I think it is working as I eat much more healthily now (particularly during the week when I am at work) and exercise more. Over the last 14 months I have lost 46 lb so am happy with that. Would have liked to loose more by the time of the wedding but can't see much going now!
Hope everyone has a nice evening0 -
Wow Em 46lbs that's amazing! Well done!0

:j Wow - well done Em thats amazing :T
Well done you.
Since September last year - I have lost 1 stone 2.5 lbs.Not too bad, but need to lose so much more - another 2/3 stone. As mentioned this would have to be lost by the last week June for my first dress fitting can't see it happening
But also worried about how far a dress can be taken in... my mum is so protective of my dress she won't let me try it on until June. :rotfl:Hopefully she will let me wear it on the day :rotfl:Its a size 14 and fitted when I tried it, I don't want to be in a position where I lose too much and the alterations ruin the dress.
Might not be on here for a while ( we are moving offices over the next couple of days).Sorry for the long post. Just off to change into my jeans so I help fill crates etc - umm I guess thats some exercise.

Phew- its warm out today! AND I have been to the gym already!!! Soo proud of my self! Ok I will admit it- I have a meeting today, so have to go to a different office, n don't have to be there until 10.30! So went swimming from 8.30-9.15. Still impressed with myself tho... I could have just had the extra hour in bed!:T0

That is still really good Hadley. Don't try to loose it too quickly otherwise it will just go back on again.
Wow that is impressive Jo! I would have had the extra sleep, lol.
Breakfast was porridge as per, lunch is last nights left overs (sausage, rocket and red pesto pasta - yummy!) and have an apple and banana too.0 -
Thanks Em.
Well done Jo - I too would have had the lie in. :T0 -
