cheers lazer, i had a punnet of strawberries instead of the cookies, forgot i'd left them in the work fridge last friday, and they were really sweet and delicious.

Daisiegg - don't be so hard on yourself when you are still on the mend, and spanish chicken sounds good. Is there anywhere on here to exchange recipes - I'm always on the lookout for ones which H2B will also like, i.e. he doesn't think they are diet food.

    Hey,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was brilliant :) although not great food wise lol.

Saturday I had porridge before we left at 5.30 am then had scrambled egg on toast at around 11 o'clock once we were in Edinburgh before we had our pre wedding photo shoot. Then I had my hair and make up trial. I loved it!! And the lady is SO nice. It took longer than I expected though and I had kicked poor OH out of the our room at the b n b. He didn't mind going exploring Edinburgh though as it is so beautiful :) We had dinner at a tex-mex restaurant which we love (are going there the night before the wedding with as many of our guests are around). I had a vegetable burrito and diet coke. We shared some chips and dip too. Then we shared a bit of cheesecake.

So saturday wasn't great diet wise but could have been worse?? possibly. haha.

Sunday was continental breakfast ( I had cereal, one piece of toast, a croissant and a small bit of brioche) then we went exploring Edinburgh and went in a cafe called Chocolate Soup. Had hot chocolate with cream on top and chocolate sauce! So yummy haha. Plus we shared a chocolate brownie and malteaser slice. Then we had our menu tasting late afternoon. The food was so good and really good size portions. I tried my main (OH tried two meat starters as couldn't decide what to go for and I knew I wanted the carmalised red onion and goats cheese tart) which was wild rocket and vegetable strudel with wilted rocket and hollandaise glaze. So good. It came with potatoes too. We shared the two puddings which were raspberry creme brulee and chocolate tort, both with home made ice cream. They were brilliant but we decided on the creme brulee as we are having chocolate cake. Didn't have anything else to eat that day after that!

Today still not been good haha. Had porridge for breakfast and then went out for pizza at lunch with my friend from work. So going to have some minestrone soup for dinner (only 132 calories for the tin) and get back to it tomorrow.

I lost another 3lbs this week. I think weight watchers is the thing for me.

Only another stone to go to be pre Sadie weight, and Sadie will be 1 in 5 weeks!

Well done on your weight loss Louise :)

Had porridge for breakfast this morning. Got nice healthy lunch of carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks, with apple, banana and melon. Then a rocky bar for something which isn't fruit and veg haha. Having written that out I realised I am getting more than my 5 a day just from lunch. That is pretty good I would say.

Off to give blood later so will have crisps/biscuits after I give. But if I am good the rest of the day thats ok :) (if I have a funny turn again after donating I will probably get pizza takeaway from next to where I give blood lol)

have been good so far today, but now am feeling really sick... think I am about to receive a visitor :( might be good on the basis that I don't want to eat.

Want to go home and curl up, but have to go to Tesco after work otherwise everyone else will strave as well.
