    Afternoon,

This thread is a bit quiet today.

Lost another 1.5lbs over the weekend so hope it stays off for Friday so I can get my 7lbs star.

Exercise has had to stop again as I started some new tablets that make me feel a lot better but has a temporary side effect of being difficult to breathe. Quite embarrassing being out of breath by just walking to the car or going upstairs but I hope it passes soon.

Well done on all the loses ladies!

I had me weigh in on sat morning - another 3lb down!! thats half a stone in the first month!

I tried on a dress I have always kept that didn't fit before (1 full size (or more, as must clothes "my" size didn;t really fit anymore either too small - and it finally fits!)

I really didn't excpect to lose anything last week as I was away with work all week, so couldn't be as healthy as I wanted to be, but tried to be relatively good with meal choices etc, until I go the cold and felt like crap so just ordered a burger and chip for room service!!

This is to be a good week now!!

3lb loss on a bad week, wow!

my weekend was ok, nothing startlingly good or bad, but had a great walk with the dog before the weather got bad yesterday, and have managed to get another walk in at lunchtime today, hoping to do a 10 mile walk this weekend as my first proper moonwalk training.

someone has now brought in cookies to the office, i'm trying to convince myself they are a sort i don't like ;)

Grrr! I brought a couple of swimming costumes yesterday, then decided to take one back- (I never took it out the bag). They are refusing to take it back because the plastic bit (the bit that always falls off- its on underwear and stuff) is not on there do they can't accept it back- because they can't sell it!!! well they bloody well sold it to me didn't they!

There returns policy days 7 days with receipt in original sellable condition! It's EXACTLY how it was sold to me!

    I am

Take the sticky plastic part off one of your other swimming costumes, stick it on to the one you want a refund and then try to take it back (to someone different heh).

Or go back and complain saying you took it out of the bag and there was no plastic and you want a new one because of hygiene reasons. And then take that back.

Oh that's an idea?!?! I may try that tomorrow! Say I want a new one because of hygiene reasons.... Lol!

I just hope I haven't chucked out the plastic bit from the other costume... I may have done yesterday, and OH took the rubbish out this morning.

I knwo i was amazed! Must be becasue i was sick - and i was doing a lot of exercise when i was away! - Walking everywhere instead of taxis!

I think you really don't like the cookies - imagine they are made of fruit and they won't be as appealing!!

I had a disastrous weekend...visiting OH's daughter with him and we went out for Italian on Sat night, drank loads of wine...then had lunch in Hard Rock Cafe on Sunday, ate lots of chocolate on the train home and curry for dinner when we got in! Oops....

Today so far I've just had a small bowl of bran flakes, loads and loads of water and have done 45 mins of exercise. My parents and brother are coming for dinner as it's my mum's birthday, but she's on a diet too so I've made a Spanish chicken recipe from a diet book - chock full of veg and only 300 cals a portion (with rice for the boys) and although I have made my mum a birthday cake I'm determined to just have one small piece (hence not having any lunch today!)
