Sorry Rups, I was out to lunch with a friend! Yes, I mean the Paul Mckenna book and cd. I read it last night and I honestly felt like crying because at last i understood things so much more. Today I imagined myself standing taking my vows and I was glowing and gorgeous. Only a month to go, but I am determined that although I might not be loads thinner I will be confident and stunning.
It is so hard to shake off what out parents pass on, isn't it. Your Mum bought you things which were too big, mine got me things which were too small so I would have to slim into them!

Hi girls,
Hope you're all well.
I weighed myself this morning and it looked like I'd managed to put on 1lb this week, I've been good so I really hope it was just a blip. Trying to drink loads of water today to rid myself of any retention before the official weigh in tomorrow morning!
I'm now quite a way behind schedule and only 10.5 weeks to the wedding! Ideally 25lb to lose in that time, but I think I need to be realistic and realise that isn't going to happen. I'd be happy with 18lb, even that isn't going to be easy.
Time to step it up, from now on I'm going to exercise for at least 30 minutes every day, 60 minutes on weekend and quit drinking (except for UK hen weekend and US hen weekend) between now and wedding.
I may also have to resort to cutting carbs to less than 30grams a day. It kills me as I crave carbs all the time, but it does work for me. I'll decide whether I'm going to start that after the weigh in tomorrow!
I've read that Paul McKenna book too, it made sense but didn't really change my attitude to food unfortunately. I may try and read it again at some point.Debt at 1/5/09 £21,996 _pale_

Morning everyone.
Soo not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow morning....:T0 -
Morning all.
Thanks for that sugar... i was so annoyed with myself that i didnt want to come on here. :0(
giddy 1lb is fine and you can def lose that very soon, so keep trying. you know that Paul Mckenna book, i didnt finish reading it as i got the cheaper bigger one so got fed up of carrying it around with me. hehe. But i had listened to the CD and that really actually made a difference, but then i stopped and carried on comfort eating. i def need to find it and start again.
i made a conscious effort yesterday though. i wrote to my personal trainer begging him for advise. lol. he wrote me a plan which looks like its mainly looks like a GI type thing as i told him i hate being hungry all the time!!! he even said i could have chocolate, as long as its in the day time, and not any after lunch!!! he said its easier to burn then compared to in the evenings when we are feeling snug on the sofa!! so i also printed a picture of nicole scherinzer in a bikini so i am sort of preparing myself now. thats it!!! i feel fat and yuck!:(Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Morning, I am not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow either. Hopefully it will be the shock I need to get my act in gear! I really don't have long to go and need to be good but work is stressing me out at the moment which doesn't help.
I MUST MUST MUST exercise when I get in rather than sit on the sofa snacking before OH gets in.0 -
I do the same Em... If I'm home alone I snack. I will join the gym after OH has his seat confirmed, that way I won't be home alone eating I will be burning the calories!:T0

It's just so easy to do it when you are at home. I am not a gym person at all. I don't find it enjoyable. Would rather do a dvd at home, but that makes it much easier to avoid.
OOoohhh when does he find out his seat? How exciting. I qualify in less than 5 months nowjust to decide what to do after haha

Should be this week.
He knows he is in a corporate seat, so I am expecting to be alone a LOT after work!! :rotfl:
So I really need something to get me out of the house!:T0 -
Oh yeah definately with corporate stuff. I find it so interesting hearing about the city firms. It never interested me, I always wanted to work in a high street firm, but its good to see the difference. I know someone whose firm have 'shower and sleeping pods' at the firm as staff are there till 2/3 am at times and still have to be ready to work again at 7/8am the next morning so they just stay at the office. Crazy. I know I get a lot less pay but I would rather have the free time lol.0
