  • I'm new, be nice!

So this is where my fat backside ends up

I won't even consider doing anything wedding related until I loose 2 stone.

I had our 2nd baby girl last April and still I have not lost the baby weight, I never lost it from the first one either :(

I joined ww and started yesterday. I'm so freaking hungry its untrue but I am determined to look as good as I can.

I currently weigh 11st 12lbs and I am disgusted with myself. Having been made redundant and being a mum to a 6 year old with learning difficulties and the baby, plus df working long hours, has turned me into a major comfort eater

I agree it is annoying having to work out the calories for everything.

I found the my recipes section on the app the other day which makes it easier. It's still a bit of a faff to work everything out but you only need to do it once! Good if you make the same stuff regularly I suppose. I'm far too lazy though, I just eat ready made stuff and scan the barcodes :D

I feel a bad few days coming, got pancake day tonight and then out all weekend :( Will have to make sure I walk everyday so it isn't so bad!

Sorry to hear about your godparents Em :(

Welcome Louise! Good luck with weight watchers :) I know what you mean about comfort eating, I stuff my face if I get stressed :rotfl:

Hi Louise :) We are all really friendly here so don't be shy. I too am a comfort eater. I also eat when I am bored which is not good.

Last night I had some crisps when I got in plus a couple of chocolates then made a massive roast, but mine was mostly veg so not too bad.

Had breakfast biscuits earlier and have got left over hm curry from the other night for lunch. No idea what I am going to do for dinner. I run out of inspiration so easily!

welcome Louise. we are all lovely here..:T hope you find it good here and well done for taking the step anf joining WW. I need to lose more than a stone now.
was reading an article about how what pregnant women eat and how it affects the baby and when they grow up, how they eat too,so i really felt bad abuot the crisps etc but did that stop me later? nope!!!

we had hubby's comedy, so we had a very early dinner at 5.45pm and then we went there, and i had a glass of red wine and then on our way back, i had a packet of crisps.bah...i must print that pic out of my celeb idol and try and look at it when i feel naughty! i lack such will power.. i need to look after my body so whenever me and hubby try for another baby, i am ready you know? im annoyed at myself and today i cant be asked with work either!!:(

Hello all, hope you are doing well? Louise - I have 4 kids and each one has kindly left me a stone to loose... how generous of them!
I have just started on the Paul Mckenna thing - I have decided that it's not what I eat that is the problem, it is my relationship with food. When I was a kid I was about 8 stone and a sixe 8 without even thinking about it. I ate what I wanted and basically did loads of 'excrecise', ie dancing and walking and generally being a teenager. However, my Mum would always say things like 'If you loose half a stone I will buy you the leather (!) trousers you want'. She was obsessed with my weight and in the end I think I started obsessing too. She was the same with my sister, who is naturally a bigger girl than me, and my Mum used to make out she was 'large' because she was a size 12. Now when I look at pictures she didn't look large at all, she looked beautiful. It was just she was always stood next to me and I was 4 inches smaller and a little skinnier. The irony ofit all was it was also my Mum who made us eat everything on our plates! Anyway, I'm going on...
I have high hopes this might change my attitude towards eating and food. My other sister did it and she had great results.
    Has anyone else tried it?

  • We have this course which we can do at work which is kind of like that Paul McKenna book. I am going to do it again as I was so invigorated after the first time. It's all about positive thinking etc.
I was the same Megan, then I met my OH.... :rotfl:

Where does our confidence go? Mine is terrible. I am determined to be a more positive role model for the kids, especially now I have a daughter. I want her to know she is beautiful, no matter what, and that she is strong and in control. I wish my Mum had taught me these things.
Yep - having a 17 stone OH also doesn't help!
