This dress fitting business intrigues me. Do you really need more than one fitting? I don't even have a dress yet and we are aiming for the first weekend in May still.

I am going to be in a mess if I do need more than one fitting! Still don't even have a venue right now, but hopefully we'll book one this weekend.

I'm actually working abroad Jan 22nd-April 6th as well. :rotfl:I was hoping I could just buy the dress and have one fitting mid April when I get back.

You need at least 2 fittings. Even I did and my dress fitted perfectly. You'll have one about a month before the wedding, and one 2 weeks before to make sure that any alterations are ok, and that the dress still fits. They don't actually take that long though.

Apparently superdrug are the best as they can tell earlier. But being 3 days late shouldn't matter and the rest are pretty much similar so just get the cheapest. Doing it in the morning is best

Phew, that will work then, I'll have one as soon as I return home and the other two weeks before.

I'm hoping once we have the venue this weekend everything will just fall into place. Whne it comes down to it I guess what doesn't get done just doesn't get done!

I've just eaten half a meat and potato pie, oops. I think I'm still sulking about gaining weight when I was so good last week.

No worries giddy, just schedule your fittings around you. As long as the dress fits on the day.
