Are you having an Indian wedding Rups?

not really as i am not that religious, so we are having a catholic wedding at a chruch on sat, but i get to experience the indian side on Sunday where we are just having a second reception but an Indian one. we are not letting my mum invite over 600 guests so we cut it down to 100 on sat and on sunday she can invite a few more. its such a pain as she feels she has to invite soo many people. she has a huge family. groan. what about yourself codemonkey?

Standard civil ceremony in a hotel, followed by a ceilidh. I don't believe in God so religious ceremonies are out. We did consider a humanist ceremony but I'm so horrified by people staring at me and speaking in front of people that we just wanted to get it over as quickly as possible. We've got about 75-150 coming during the day as my family are breeders.

lol. i hate long indian weddings. its always who can out shine the other, with the biggest function. for my mum, though its who has invited her in the past and if she doesnt invite them, they will get upset! i dont care though,. haha. As we want to keep it small and intimate, we made sure we put our foot down and said no to a huge number. my brother was meant to have a total of 600 at his. 800 turned up and it was a nightmare! so much food was wasted as well. :0(. I would have loved to have a ceilidh as h2b is half Scottish :-)

Can't imagine having 800 people at a wedding. I don't even know that many! Good for you putting your foot down.

Hopefully the ceilidh will be fun. The band seem pretty good. Just hoping they turn up.

Did an hour in the gym earlier and my arms are burny now. C'mon Michelle Obama arms.

I love her arms!! she has fantastic arms! :0) try to achieve nicer arms at body pump but we only work them fortnightly as the class is only 45 mins, so lunges one week and arms the next.

So bored. want to go home and try that bollywood dvd. any plans for the weekend?

I suspect it will be a quiet one. Especially if it continues raining this way all weekend. Its like stair rods. Only a few more hours til the s days and hopefully, my first complete week without a special day or a naughty day. You doing anything nice?

Oh have fun with the bollywood rups...I do belly dancing and my old teacher also did bollywood so I did a bit of that...did a bhangra workshop once and it nearly killed me!!
