Dress sounds lovely Code - I love anything bright and colourful. :)

Trying to resist buying anything though as am (hopefully) still losing weight and also I have so many clothes that I grew too big for to try. And I mean so many :o

    Thanks

When I eat 1200 calories a day, I don't get hungry (I tried 1000 and that was too low and I was really hungry). I can't usually exercise so 1200 was ok for me. Now I am exercising, I guess I should eat more but I don't know what as I'm not hungry enough. I think I should try and see my weight loss nurse to see what she recommends.

    For instance yesterday I ate:

Breakfast - Oatso Simple Porridge - 216 calories
    Lunch - Chicken Sandwich - 300 calories
Dinner - Leek and Potato Soup, 2 slices of bread with low fat margarine and 2 satsumas - 679 calories

    Total 1195 calories.

Exercise was 1hr 20 on the wii - 693 calories. (not going to do this much in the future, I was bored so did more exercising)

I wasn't hungry at all. In fact I felt quite full. Oh and I take Xenical which means I don't absorb as much fat.

Maybe some nuts? Small but high in calories so a couple of handfuls a day should help. Bananas in your porridge, some Orange juice or a glass of milk. Something like that.

Feeling very Meh about this diet thing today? What's the point when I'm now heavier than when I started?

I would say that eating only 1200 and then exercising more than half of them off is going to leave your body needing more/storing those you give it. Calories aren't everything though its about eating hte right things. Try adding more fruit and veg to your diet, as Code says it can be just small changes like a glass of juice with breakfast, which will really make a difference.

Code I know how you feel, why is it so hard to loose it and so easy to put it on. Try to stay positive. Are you doing the No S diet again? If so you have the weekend to look forward to :)

I put a bit too much chilli oil on my cous cous so its a tad too spicy! haha still yum though

    Thanks

I think what I may do is eat 1200 calories on non exercise days and eat 1400 on exercise days and do 200 calories of exercise until I see my weight loss nurse for more information. My next appointment is 25th November but I think I need to see her earlier.

I have started adding more vegetables to my diet because I have changed the daily chicken sandwich to pitta, 1/2 pepper, cucumber and low fat houmous. Had that today and it was really nice and made me feel quite full.

Oh and I really hurt today. I haven't been able to exercise since March (I used to do BMF until my EDS stopped me)

I'm sort of no-S-ing with a twist - because I've fried my metabolism I'm trying to kick start it again, so breakfast is normally a tub of cut up fruit eaten at short intervals through the day. I'm hoping it will trick my metabolism into overclocking.

Thats a nice healthy breakfast Code, no need to feel bad about not following the No S diet strictly. I don't follow any kind of diet and sometimes think I should but this is working for me so far, albeit a little slowly but I am still having lots of yummy stuff so more likely to stick to it.

BTW off topic Codemonkey but what coding do you do? (I guess you are a programmer?)

I do C, C# and occasionally do the web stuff when I am coding CGI's.

Also have you heard the Jonathan Coulton song, Code Monkey? Your name keeps reminding me of it.
