I am going shopping on Saturday. :) really need some new stuff! love shopping! :D

H2B used to be a veggie, so we eat meat with meal only about 50%, maybe a bit less. It's cheaper that way too! :)

No, take the train. Will go to Stratford tomorrow though, as my travel card covers it, so saves a fiver each! When went last week on sun it was quiet until 12.

I would try any kind of dancing really but OH says no to them all. Haha he doesn't do any exercise really but is still much fitter than I am; how is that fair??!!

I've always been veggie so nothing to compare it to but OH prefers meat, just not enough to cook it himself!! haha.

I love oxford street shopping its so cool. But I hate the general public haha as they get in the way or walk too slow. My BM is coming to stay next weekend and we will shop for a good 9 hours or so on oxford street, and then prob go up to wood green on the sunday haha.

Nearly lunch time yay. Quite looking forward to my cous cous :)

I have a question regarding exercise.

I have finally found an exercise that my EDS doesn't complain about. (Wii EA Active Sports).

I am trying to stick to 1200 calories a day and yesterday I ate 1195 calories.

I have a heart rate monitor which tells me how many calories I burn and last night it told me 693.

Which leaves net calories of 502.

To avoid starvation mode (most annoying thing ever. To lose weight, eat less and exercise more but not too much otherwise it won't do anything. Grr) do I have to eat another 693 calories (which seems pointless as I just burnt them off) or is it ok to have net calories of 502?

hon isnt 1200 calories too low though? esp as you are incoporating exercise? or is that what the GP/nurse has recommended? that is a bit low. I wouldnt say eat that many, just in case medically, its wrong. i would hate to have less calories and be starving, even though once the instructor at the gym said a woman needs a normal amount of 2000 cals per day but for me to lose weight and to be around 65 kg, i need to eat around 1500-1600 with exercise.

you are right in saying that eat less, exercise more, but what can you do when you exercise and your body wants food? i get so hungry at times that i hate it!!

Olokia, I think 502 might be too few. I speak from experience here - before the wedding I was eating far too little and exercising a lot and I hit the dreaded starvation mode I think, stopped loosing weight, and even worse, made my body store fat like a crazy thing - almost 2 months on, I'm over a stone heavier and worse then I was when I started to lose weight in the first place. Remember that the point of exercise isn't just to burn extra calories, its to build lean muscle which burns calories faster. Maybe consider adding a few more protein calories.

Can't find a photo of the dress but its just above knee length with long sleeves and its bright red.
