Am going to gym tonight. U guys have to make me go! And booked to go dress shopping soon! Yay! (I know I already have one but didn't want to miss out on the fun!):T0

Haha yes I probably am barmy. I've signed up for the Brighton Marathon in April, simply to prove a point to myself: if I can get round a marathon, I can get through anything marriage throws up! I look forward to having 3 or 4 hours to myself every Sunday morning for training next year as time out from the wedding hullaballoo.
Nike+ is fab isn't it! I always forget to charge up my watch though and it runs down pretty quickly. Congrats on your milestone, was it 250km? Very impressive. Running is brilliant because it's so easy to improve and you can make real progress very quickly. I only started properly in January but am well and truly hooked! Good luck with the 10k training, I recommend following the Runner's World training plans.0 -
Jo come on, you have to go.. i am going and you have to come with me (virtually). hehe
i went to runners world eng, and even bought a lovely pair of trainers, and have only used them once!i keep so busy during lunch time classes that I do not have time for a run. i really want to get started as OH is a great runner and want to try and run with him as in Kung fu the warm up involves running around and I struggle. hehe

heh heh - my 'hen night' will consist of me and my CBMIIWHO (chief bridesmaid if I was having one) going to my hairdressers - getting my hair dyed and cut, and her hair cut, then shooting off to a local health spa and having a pedicure, manicure and a body salt scrub, then going off to my fave restaurant for a meal. Even though it's not till July next year I have it all booked apart from the restaurant which I'll get booked in closer to the time. Got it all booked for the Saturday before our wedding on the Tuesday
I *will* look all sparkly and chilled out even if I won't feel it ha!!
I just have to decide what to do with my hair.
At the moment I have it dyed red (red all over with different shades of red highlights so it's not a block colour)... but I don't know if I want red hair on my wedding photos or whether they'd look a bit trashy/cheap. I don't know whether to go back to my natural colour - brown, or whether to have brown with red streaky bits. I'll be getting it dyed around 3 times between now and the wedding so I will probably experiment - think I'll go to brown next time and see how dowdy and drab I feel.0 -
Best thing I did was buy a proper pair of running trainers (went to my home town's running shop where they analyse your gait). I do love the peace and quiet when I'm running. Gives me time to think if I want to or just switch off.
I don't find my watch drains very quickly - although to be fair I do charge it up as soon as i get back from a run lol - I can't wait to see my graph! (Sad geek).
Jo - how about we'll all stop talking to you if you don't go :rotfl:.
You already have a dress but you're going dress shopping again? What if you find a dress you like more than the one you have?0 -
wow mrs drink... sounds like an action packed hen do
good stuff!i must organise mine actually. i need a body scrub too but dont know when and where? missed a good deal of a nice massage at groupon! grrrr. i need one so badly to just chill. have a few weekends left and already stuff planned in them. could ring and plan a hair dye. i had red high lights done as my hair is soooo dark. when the colour faded, the brown came and then made my hair look rough so the make up lady and the hairdresser suggested i go back to my natural boring colour so it looks healthy and shiny on the day.. better ring him today as for that i had a voucher deal too. grrr

Well I saw a dress I really liked on eBay, before I had really started looking. I was umming and ahing over whether to get it, but as I had liked it before I saw it on eBay I thought I would get it anyway! It was only £107, so chuffed with that. But I still want the experience of dress shopping. If I find something I love more I will get that, (if within budget)! The dress was actually just too good to miss! I do really like it... Tho atm it is too small.
Yes- stop talking to me if I don't go!:T0 -

Yes, gym tonight! I found out I can do cycling without it hurting my knee, so that's one cardio! Wahoo!
so I do 5km of cycling then some weights and some more cardio to cool down. Not much but better than nothing!
:T0 -
yes you are right. that is better than nothing and what you have planned is lots anyway. 5k cycling isnt a joke. :0) i struggle at times to even row for over 5 mins. hehe.. hmm am enjoying the boxing with the PT though. it gets me gasping for air after 5 mins. he must think im such a wimp! doesnt help that he is so cute.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
