no am just sitting here in rage about the printers.. why cant people understand simple things?? its getting more delayed now! i feel so angry..

Try not to stress Rups, I'm sure it just needs a bit of communication to fix things. What kind of invites are you having done?

I've been working on our invite design - after a couple of attempts, I finally think I'm happy with it! Am just waiting for new printers at work that mean I can print on card. Don't need to send them out for months yet, but I get impatient!

Ooh MsS are you doing your own invites? I think I'd like to give it a go to save time. Have you seen any templates online or anything like that?

Not templates as such, but I've spotted some that I've used for inspiration. They're on my Pinterest board if you want to have a peek. (My ones are an adapted version of the second pic from top left.)

I do design as part of my job, and am a bit of a typography anorak, so I'm loving doing it myself.

Nice! Thanks MsS! I'm on pinterest too to share my wedding ideas with my bridesmaids as all three live in different cities to me and each other! I suppose it would help a lot to have a design background, but I might give it a go anyway...I'm creative - ish!

i wish i had done my own now as they are a pain. you see we have two separate occassions now. a church wedding on saturday to which only 100 are invited from both sides and thenon sunday more on my mums side so we have had to split the cards and what goes on them. we took 2 hours explaining to the printers and they just messed it up. it took me an hour now to sort of do like an idiots guideline, so am going to email them. The internet crashed so had to ring IT. when something goes wrong, it all goes wrong!! grrr lol
