Very good advise Rups! Hadley i think it is best if you just concentrate on one thing to help you for now. Whether it is healthy eating or exercising, and just concentrate on that. Then once that is under control work on the other, don't tackle too much at once! And try not to feel guilty about a slip up, it will happen!! Just enjoy and move on!:T0

I agree with above Hadley. As you've got time, why not start small. Say you're only allowed sweets and crisps on weekends, have fruit lying around for snacks and maybe go for walks at lunchtime. Then in a month, reduce the snacks slightly and so onEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

its the same with the gym. when i have been going mad in the past and started off going to the gym nearly everyday, i found i got fed up it quicker and so i stopped going due to that. Then when I got back into it, i just took my time and went when i could, skipping a day here and there (i still do that hehe).Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Morning all!
Popped on the scales this morning and I shifted a pound last week, which makes nine in total so far. Feels like slow progress, but hey at least it's progress!
Code, how are the muscles today after your Shredding? Having read up a bit more about it on the Shred thread on here, I think I might need a few more weeks of Zumba before I attempt it!
Hadley, it sounds like you've reached a turning point, which is always a great motivator. I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dad. I know how devastating it can be (I lost my mum nearly 10 years ago). As the others have said, start small and manageable, enjoy the victories, and before you know it you'll be well on your way. xx0 -
Same as me Rups. I pushed too hard too soon, injured myself and then put all the weight back onEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Morning folks!
Just popping by to say that I've ordered the 30 day shred too! It sounds good! We'll have to all let each other know how we're getting on with it!0 -
Never got past level 2 last time. Doubt i'll do it tonight either - zumba and gym today already. I think I'd die.
