evening all! Another busy week at work, haven't had time to get to the gym yet :( It's so easy to not exercise when you are not exercising, if you know what i mean!!

I am trying to eat 'healthily' but finding it hard to stop eating choc and stop drinking alcohol. What is everyone else doing - giving it all up cold turkey or allowing treats on some days???

I am on the no s diet, so no snacks, seconds or sweets apart from on days that start with S! Not done too well past week though! :(

Hi bettyB, I'm not banning anything as such (though I'm not exactly gorging on Dairy Milk!).

I'm tracking my calories using MyFitnessPal, so if I want a treat, I either have to cut back elsewhere in the day and/or do some exercise.

For example, last Sunday I was craving a glass of Rikorderlig strawberry-lime cider (yum!), so I made up for it with a four-mile walk and a light lunch! :)

Also doing no s, (failing miserably this week) and aiming for at least 1 hour of exercise everyday, 5 days a week. Usually manage an hour in the gym and 14 minutes of shovelglove.

Also taking psyllium husks to suppress my appetite (not sure how much they do that but they seem to be helping regulate my ibs) and acidophilus which seems to have reduced bloating a bit.

Well last night I went shopping to try to find a basque. I walked for over a mile, went into every shop I could think of and found 2. One was too big in my cupsize and didnt have the size down and one was perfect, so beautiful but cost £130 which I can't justify. It was quite depressing actually. The shops didn't have anything. Just musty sale stock. By the time I got home, I was so hungry and we didn't have anything that wouldnt have taken ages to cook, so I had a bag of sensations Peking rib crackers and a flake. I fail at this diet stuff.

My boss is doing my head in. Stop scraping your spoon off your bowl!!

    morning..

codemonkey i hate that too. a girl in my office does that and i want to kill her. Low tolerance, i have. lol
I am so sorry to hear about your basque shopping. Have you tried Bravissimo or even Debenhams as they do lovely ones and i managed to return mine to Rigbey and Peller and got one from Bravisimmo for 70 (with a thong). lol. i hope on the day of the fitting, it looks ok otherwise i am just going to stick with the fabtasie strapless. agg too much hassle. i would say though, if you really liked the 130 pounds one, and it fit well, then get that as its for your wedding. That would justify that. :-)

ms shopper you are so good. i ought to do that and ensure i get some sort of exercise everyday. :-)

Betty, im just trying to eat healthy food but when i fancy a treat, i have a little bit. yesterday i could not say no to those yummy thorntons caramel squares. i had 2. hehe

i was thinking whether to go to the gym today but as they have circuits back on, i might go instead ofgoing shopping hehe

Isn't bravissimo for big cup sizes? I don't have very big boobs.

I went into debenhams but they only had 1 in my size and it was too short. The woman in john Lewis told me to try figleaves so I might see if I can get the cheaper one there.

oh yes figleave is good too.. erm i am sure bravisimmo can do smaller cups. have a look on theie website, as my sister had initially told me about it, and she had bought some bras from there, and she used to be quite small. so they might do your size. worth checking out :0)

It's so stupid. I was getting really upset about my wobbly belly. all through weight seems to be coming off my boobs and I liked those :(

    Hello Ladies! :hello:

I haven't looked at this thread for a little while, mostly through shame - went on holiday to theLake District last week, and thought that, with all thewalking and activity stuff I would be doing (we did canyoning - climbing upstream through a gorge, jumping into pools etc - IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! :D), I wouldn't put any weight on - haaaaaaaa.......

Nearly two pounds up on my last weigh in.

Ho hum, back to it then...
