shes been married before, and recently got married to a guy over the net. i thought it was weird but i just was happy for her. it was a quick wedding as shes based here and he is in Saudi. she hadnt met him and had chatted over the net (i know that can happen at times), so they got married over the post (they could sign papers that way) but he is still there and she is here. other friends have said that she could be jealous as she may not have had the wedding like i am planning to have. iam not having a big wedding but that was her choice right? i dont know. may be i am over analysing. what do you girls think?

Umm your bridesmaid does sound a pain. Maybe your other friends is right and she is a bit jealous of teh wedding you are planning.

The last thing you need is an arguement, but maybe you should say something if she isn't pulling her weight. easier said than done I know.

Thankfully mine so far have been great - well one out of the 4 has anyway. :rotfl:

you have 4? wow thats cool. i have included another uni friend as she is more organised but she is scared of stepping on the other ones toes. lol. well i think i am at that point where i am thinking that if we fall out, we do, as i am way too stressed when it comes to contacting her etc. lol. Thanks Hadley. sorry i know i wrote too much there. hehe. at least you have 1 out of 4 who is good, so once she gets organising, the others shuold heopfully join in. why are they such a pain? lol. all i asked them to do was plan a hen do. she hasnt even come for shopping etc with me. Only one time was when i started looking for dresses. thats it. hmmmm need to think about it and nip it in the bud. Thank you Hadley.

Yeah I have 4. One is SD2B (16), a very old friend, SIL2B (who is so far being good) and my neice.

Its a long story, but due to issues with my brother over my dad's death etc. I would love to not have my neice, but unfortunately I think I am stuck with her. :mad:

But anyway, deep breathing - you should get your other Uni friend on the case for the hen night etc. The other girl can't complain as you have tried and tried to get her involved. She surely should realise all that you have going on at the mo. You shouldn't have to keep chasing her. (thats me being brave - :rotfl:)

Still feeling rather stuffed now after that sarnie, so guess it wasn't too bad a thing to have.

I am ravenously hungry and not sure I have time for the gym today. The sky has just opened too.

I have 2 bridesmaids (neither of which have done much) and 2 teenage bridesmaids and tbh I wish I'd just chosen friends instead of family. They did just get told, this is what you're wearing and one of them asked for something to cover her arms so they have shrugs that the other hates but as I'm the bride they'll do as they're told.

Umm I wish I could just have the two (SIL2B and my friend). Neice is taking after her mum and become a little so and so (plus at 12 she is already about 5ft 9 and very large). I'm only 5ft.:rotfl:But then again all my bridesmaids are taller than me I think the shortest being about 5ft 5. But really wanted one style of dress to fit them all. My SIl has already started to dictate what sort of dress I should get for her daughter!! She can go jump:mad:... as Codemonkey says I'm the bride she will wear what I want - its one day of her life.

Still enough of that... SD2B will be days away from her 18th when I marry her dad and she is turning more and more into a little madam. :mad:

Still I must get back to my email... work related. Umm nothing really to do with diet/exercise in this post. Maybe I could encourage my neice to diet.. no that a wicked thing to say,:o but she has the tome if she tried to make a real effort.

i know this is a diet thread lol but this helps us to let off some steam. wow Hadley poor you. think you have enough on your hands. i am really not bothered now what they wear (well i dont even know now how many i will have in the end?). i had a main one and now ive addedmy uni friend who prob deserves to be more there. i would have loved my nieces to be there, and it has taken me ages to try and convince OH to let them, as he is very stubborn and he doesnt like my older brother very much, because when my sister passed away, we had some issues and he took my sisters side, because she passed away being very angry at me. so that is on-going through my brother, so OH feels why shuold i let my nieces be bridesmaids? they are only 6 and 2 and i do adore them!! such hassle. havent even thought what they can wear. i suppose as i give them a colour, they can find dresses (as SIL is happy to do so). lol. i wish i had also asked SIL as she has been soo helpful! more than bridesmaids. maybe i can still ask you think?

feel sleepy. went to GBK and had a massive greek burger and chips.. bad bad me.. ok have to walk away now as guy next to me is going mad eating crisps. grrr

It's mental isn't it? I wanted more bridesmaids cause I couldn't choose but then there was the cost of the dresses, the cars to transport them, their shoes, their hair accessories, their bouquets and so on.

I'be been naughty. Had a huge bag of crisps and a curly wurly as well as my porridge. Oink.

lol no oink.. some one has brought jaffa cakes and i am soooo tempted. i am still feeling sleepy so fancy tea and a jaffa cake. lol

yeah i forgot about the costs of the bridesmaids. oh i dont knw what to do? i am sure if i just tell SIl for example, to get my nieces dresses, she would lol. its my two main ones. mil said she will make my nieces some bouquets.
