yes i am a bit worried especially after reading all the bad feedback..but my joiner is going to be with me to check the kitchen with me before i hand over any payment...i've paid £100 which is a lot of money to me but it's not the end of the world if i loose it...there are some good reviews, just hope i am one of the lucky ones...most people only tend to leave reviews when they are not happy.as my daughter just told me, that is what she has been told in her business studies class..i'll just have to wait an see0

CRAP DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVING RIP OFF MERCHANTS. Unfortunately, I have purchased a kitchen from them (so called liquidation stock), the wrong handles delivered, which I am still waiting for the replacements some 3 weeks after the delivery. No predrilled holes on any of the units for the door hinges, the drawer unit has no holes for the drawer runners, wrong door sizes, I am on the phone to them as i type this review, and the ignorant woman is telling me that the doors are the only liquidation part of the kitchen, the rest can come from anywhere. She has actually just hung up on me. She stated that no units are pre-drilled because the doors are from different manufacturers. This is why they only accept cash or a bankers cheque, so you have no means of getting your money back. BE WARNED, NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES.0

We were also recently defrauded by Future Kitchens, and are at a loss - how can we sue them? All post gets returned. Recorded delivery is not accepted. We've taken out a small claims case against them, and they've not accepted the summons. How can we sue them? Has anyone been successful? Does anyone on this forum live in Manchester, and if so can you shed any light on the bogus address? One positive - after we finally gave up on them (or was it them giving up on us??) we simply went to B&Q and bought identical doors and other parts that were missing or damaged to finish the kitchen. We've paid an extra £600 + but at least we do have a kitchen now - although the bodging can be detected if you look closely!0

I ordered a kitchen from Kitchens Uber after visiting their web site which looked very professional. I arranged a visit and a guy called Paul came to the house and following a chat about what I wanted included in the kitchen, drew up a design and quoted me a price for high gloss cream slab units. Delivery was arranged for two weeks later. The kitchen was delivered by one guy in a hire van who checked off what was delivered against the inventory (although he did say that 2 x 1000 corner base units had been changed to 800 corner base units - which he said was a mistake by the planner). I paid by bankers draft and the driver did mark up the paperwork saying I would not be fitting kitchen for 3 weeks as I was concerned in case there was any damaged units or missing parts when we eventually got around to fitting.
A couple of days after delivery, we realised that no door handles or hinges had been delivered. After numerous attempts to speak to customer services (continually put on hold for up to 30 mins at a time and then disconnected) I sent a fax to Kitchens Uber regarding the missing items. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I also sent a couple of emails to them at the email address on the delivery note. I eventually got through to a guy called Robbie in customer services who agreed to send the missing items. These did arrive a week later.
Our joiner started to put the cabinets together yesterday. He said they were poor quality with pre-drilled holes not lining up etc. The two 800 base corner units are wrong as they don't fit to the wall and instead we will have two big wasted spaces covered by worktops. In addition, we have got 5 x missing doors, they have supplied matt cornices/pelmets instead of high gloss and one the larder unit doors 60/40 split) is the wrong size and we have a 2" gap between them!
I tried to phone them again tonight and once again was put on hold and then cut off. Customer service is a joke!
I wish I'd never purchased the kitchen from this company and wish I'd done my homework better and checked them out before purchasing. I'm absolutely gutted that I've paid over £2k for a kitchen that is cheap and nasty and worry that I will struggle to get through to customer services to complain and request the missing items.
Can anybody suggest who I can make a complaint to? I'm based in Leeds.0 -
Hi,
I am new to this forum, but I too have been caught in the trap of this company (uber kitchens).
I paid for my kitchen in full, and then never recieved the doors. I have tried to contact the company and get told they are transferring me, and then line goes dead. I have also sent them a letter by recorded delivery and I can see that it is being returned to me.
I have since gone and brought my doors from B&Q, but would like to recover the money for my doors, and I am thinking of contacting Dominic Littlewood if anyone is interested?
With Thanks

All of the above x10, my last experience was yesterday,(thursday 17th november 2011) when the van driver (gorilla) was very very menacing. demanding that i paid for an extra door we had to order because the kitchen planner did not include it in their initial order, the extra door was delivered with the doors that were being exchanged because they were either damaged or missing in the initial delivery. The gorilla threatened to take all of the doors back if he wasnt paid for the single door and threatened to smash the front door down if i didnt let him out. This person (term used very lightly) left me very shaken and i am serious considering reporting him to the police, it took me several hours to compose myself before i could carry on with the rest of my day
do not touch these people with a very very long bargepole, not unless you want grief and your money to go down the pan0 -

I like many other prople on the site was taken in by this bunch of cowboys - I was lucky though and having taken a weekend delivery and with the fitter coming on the Monday was quickly able to establish what was missing, the fitter told me that he could not start to fit due to missing carcases and that I could end up with an unusable kitchen. I contacted the so called CS Dept well wont go into everything as pepole on this site already know what they are about. Armed with all the info form this site after doing some digging i cancelled my bankers draft all legit I have to say - I contacted the police and explained what was going on to the bank - cheque stopped and money back in my bank, they called me after a week to say the cheque was cancelled and how did i intend to ake payment? i wasnt I told them bunch of scoundrals - come and get your stuff I dont want it, anyway 7 months later the kitchen is still in my garage after letter being sent and returned etc, now they are suing me which is great i think as if it goes to court I am sure that a judge would be very interested to see what a bunch of cowboys these people really are - i will update this forum again with the outcome. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY OR COMPANIES AS WE KNOW THEY ARE TRADING UNDER ALL DIFFERENT NAMES - YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND THE OLD SAYING IF IT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS IS DEFINATELY RIGHT HERE. hope this helps.0
