The Vallikids have yet to arrive in Valliland. The one who answers his phone is asleep on the coach (as are ALL the teachers ) no news from DD but that's not unusual. I refuse to phone her because I am sick of her phone always going to messgae (and her insistence it's the phone when I know FULL WELL it's how she has set it up) so I phoned DS's (female) BF's mum...;)
I'll be heading off up to school to get them shortly; I have already done a reccie and found the car park is unlocked, which means we won't have to block the road like we did when we took them.
DS has sent me a text with a LONG string of kisses...I wonder if I'll get a public hug?

(He once RAN across the field when he was in KS2 and JUMPED into my arms as he hadn't known I was going to collect them - he'd have been year 4 or year 5 at the time...DD's friend's mum was MOST shocked - she didn't know (some) boys like 'cuddles-of-mum')

Anyway - got LOADS listed on e bay while I was 'itching' by the computer...
now I'm trying to update the bank account spreadsheet...

Jojo - hugs, at least you are moving forward as pigpen says, the days of beating your head against a brick wall are over.

Not as much done as I had hoped - though the electricals are much less furry, and the hall is clear. Hoover gave up the ghost halfway down the hall, so the filters are washed and drying but they don't look very healthy. It's an old Dyson DC07, so it may be in need of replacement, we'll have to see.

Fridge and freezer arrived - fridge has dent in door:mad: Co op are arranging for a new door to be fitted as I needed the fridge NOW. However I now have chilled drinks for the first time in a week so I am reasonably happy.

valli - even I got a hug from DS2 when he got back from Russia - although only a very brief one at school!! I expect you'll be up half the night while they tell you every last detail!!

Bright sun here, but very chilly wind. I have cleaned the cloakroom, and done loads of washing. That's it, as well as reading in the garden for a couple of hours, and clearing weeds and digging on the allotment this afternoon - so not totally idle.

Must do a bit of school work. (*insert rolleyes smiley*)

hex2 and greenbee - have pm'ed for advice.

    :hello:to all my flylady friends!
Love and hugs, especially to lady-liberty, toots, and lamewolf

    Also to JoJo.

Jojo big hugs honey, it can be so hard to take it all in but this is a big step in the right direction.

Toots it's lovely to hear things are starting to settle. Please don't worry about me, i can handle it. This is just a bump in the road. I think i was feeling abit down and everything was just getting on top of me. I'm feeling more positive now and know what needs to be done. Hubby finishes his course tomorrow so it gives me a chance to speak to the CPN. PIL away at the minute but i know they will be thinking things over. As for hubby staying with them, not a chance they've said that before. They did say if we weren't getting on he should spend a few night's in the pig house. :rotfl: I did put my foot down today when he asked for a lend of money because he has spent his. Then when we got home i stuck a list under his nose and told him to get on with it, his response was ''are you for real'' my response was ''i'm very for real''.:rotfl: In fairness he did do the list, all easy stuff to do and only took him half an hour, so i've told him there will be one for tomorrow. He'll get used to them. :D

Plan for me now is to get the kids to bed and i'll go sort there clothes for tomorrow. Must remember to throw there schoolbags through the wash tomorrow, there boggin. Then i'm heading to bed....night all.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

(((hugs))) for Jojo. Just to reiterate, if you need any help DLA wise, give me a shout.

jayjay - how did you get on at the jobcentre?

sockdrawer - just noticed your location. I wonder who your nearest Flylady is :D

G&B - did you hear about our mutual friend having a baby? :p

Well, my application has been submitted and I have done my prep for tomorrow. I dont know if I want the blooming job now. I dont know if I'll get travelling expenses, which I assumed I would. 32 miles doesnt sound very far, but its a twisty, rubbish road. I dont even think its a dual carriageway. Oh and its only 13 hours a week *sigh* Que sera sera...I will go along and do my best and have faith that it will all work out for the best.

    Evening all

Another busy day here - can't wait for the end of school tomorrow. :j

    Rant alert!

I had my work planned for tonight, but then found out that I have used the wrong template for a task not knowing that there were two, and I also received just over 24 hour notice that I'll be observed in the morning.

My GCSE stuff won't get marked tonight, as I've got to throw everything at the lesson plan. I also must design a worksheet for another class tomorrow, re-do the task with the correct template and start the next data analysis (due by the end of school tomorrow). God knows what my GCSE class will be doing. And then there are the reviewed set lists which I need to share with various staff in school... The pigs are already waiting for take-off, saddles fastened.

However, this is still an awful lot less than so many of you are having to cope with. I shall pick myself up, make a cuppa and get on with it. I'll be around for the long weekend from tomorrow. :D

In the meantime, help yourself to hugs, spoons, sticks and anything else as needed. x
