Sad news for all us old punk types out there...http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-13193968

Better get a wriggle on, got to be out in a mo and my car is filthy, filthy, dirty so I'm treating it to a car wash.

I heard this and thought of Triker (because I just 'dabbled' - Triker 'lived the life') - and Short Bird too huh? another punk in our midst? - but very sad...

I too have cleaned my car - because, like an idiot I parked it under a tree (in the sunshine) and of course it got 'dripped' on.

Last night I watched The Suspicions - which I really enjoyed but I kept having little breaks (to do stuff). In one of them I chopped up the crudites from my 'party' on Easter Sunday and turned them into veggie chilli, overnight in the SC.

(The crudites were celery, spring onion, carrot and peppers - they were mainly uneaten and there's no way I can get through all I had left on my own so with some passata, garlic and red kidney beans they have been chillified. I will freeze the chilli. I have other leftovers to munch!)

I have also bleached my worktop in the kitchen - oh the joys of a whie worktop - so it looks nice and clean! Who knew Pimms stained?

I have frogs to eat, though...

I've started on the kitchen (walked to the shops this morning then did two wash loads and a bread batch) Bread now rising and the skirting boards, window frame and part of the floor washed. Need to get that area sorted as the new fridge and freezer are due for delivery in the morning and want it respectable as will need the delivery men to take them through the house.

Probably won't get as far as the dining room but my kitchen is two rooms really so will concentrate on that.

Just having a jacket spud and soft cheese for lunch.

Vanilla - I have no advice, just a hug, listen to Triker.

OK so what seemed like a simple level 1 - wipe down kitchen surfaces seems to be turning into a major spring clean of the kitchen. At least I can SEE the first surface though now! Time for a coffee I think.

Next week it will be easier to get through.. promise!

Update before taking Pip for a walk -

    Tuesday~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Done!!

    Clean Z’s sandals
Send off Claire’s wedding acceptance and menu choice on way to school
    5.00 Z’s piano lesson
    7.30 Fellowship Group
    Warfarin – 9mg

Missing out the extras as I'd rather be outside in the garden (or green gym as I'm now calling it!) Put on 3lbs over the last few weeks and want to shift it :).
