Well I have two loads of washing on the line, cake out of the oven and bread straight in. Making rolls as then OH can take easy pack up for fishing this aft, and DS can have the same for work this evening.

Need to sort out the kitchen though as have been working in it all weekend. My beautiful huge side-by-side american f/freezer conked out on Friday morning (why do they choose bank holidays!!!!) so have had to try and salvage as much as I can. DD Ashia has taken my joints of meat and put them in her freezer, but we are managing with a tiny freezer here and a dodgy beer chiller. The last time this happened it cost £300 to repair and it is too old now to throw money at, so I have ordered matching tall fridge and freezer from the coop (free delivery and cash back) which will arrive on Wednesday. These will be a better option if the house move goes ahead.

Triker - we may move as far as Huddersfield:eek: (talk about into the unknown) OH has been temping for 4 years since Skeltons closed and most of the work he is offered is over on the other side. The cost of fuel is silly - we are putting over £500 a month into the cars at the moment and thats without any leisure driving - spent £600 in Feb as we went away for a weekend.

I am going to have a go at washing carpets over the next few weeks - it will probably be and education.

    Mawnin' all.:D

I'm in this week - hopefully; probably playing catch-up from Wednesday onwards, as Mr LW is on early shift working from home tomorrow (this is usual after being on call over the weekend, btw).:o

Many thanks FCC; and thanks Piggers for a SOAADFA day today; we shall attempt to get a couple of bits of the Toots list done, methinks; Mr LW is also making noises about another "walk" this afternoon, and has requested sausage and egg salad for dins again.:D

Ooh, before I forget, Happy Birthday to Guns'n'banjos and also to SSL's Nan.:bdaycake:
Right, I'm going to drink the cup of tea that just appeared in front of me, and check my email.;)

    Happy Birthday G&B

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    I love that description.

Now stop being rude about yourself :D
Flyladies are not stupid - daft, ditsy, eccentric, but not stupid!

The person you were at the time did the best she could at the time and now you are making a fresh start in the best place for help, advice (and the occasional well-aimed fluffy mule)

Several of us will confirm that writing down what you intend to do does help to get you going.

yeah, everything is a huge shock at the moment because i had a completley different lifestyle until yesturday. it will take time but maybee these changes are for the better, it will make me appreciate what i have and not what i dont have.

I look foreward to the fluffy mules lol.

today (and maybee the next few days dependent on how much a actually do) is all about making my dining room/quail room/ put it on the table and leave it il sort it in a bit room, into an actual dining room where we can find the table potentially even sit at it, now theres a novelty

I really do love that satisfying feeling of decluttering space and looking at the result :) I think this is the most eager and enthusiastic I have ever felt :)

Ooh possibly not the right thread but I saw this suggestion on 'up your income' a couple of days ago :) Save a pound a day for Xmas :) Well I am going to pick up one of those can type of money boxes and start from Sunday the 1st of May until last day in November - my aim is to save £210 plus any coppers loose around the house will be added :) I'm going to hide it from DH so that I can surprise him - ooh quite excited :)

I have also binned a Hot Cross bun (in the noisy bin at the front of my face!!) :rotfl:

Happy Belated Birthday Shortbird! I hope you had a lovely day.
Happy Birthday GnB - hope you have a wonderful day today.
    Welcome back JayJay!

Well DH (first time I've written that) has been busy decluttering the garage for the last couple of days so that he can get the lawnmower through to cut the jungle that has become our back garden! I've nearly got on top of all of the washing (all holiday stuff has been done and put away, but there are a couple of loads of other washing to do today), so the next task is to tidy up the living room and then start writing thank you cards for wedding presents. We have one wedding present (a box of roses chocolates) that we're not sure who gave it to us, as it wasn't wrapped, and there was no card or label stuck to it. Unfortunately there were quite a few people at the reception who didn't give anything, so we can't even use process of elimination to work out who it came from.

Well I've been catching up with emails etc this morning, so haven't got dressed yet, so need to do that, as I hadn't realised how late it had got.

Hugs to LadyL, toots, lamewolf and anyone else who needs one,

    sexymouse xx
