Sexymouse - I missed your wedding:( bet you had a wonderful day and didn't miss me at all:rotfl:
Have spent the last hour or so in the real room od doom (DD's room) she sleeps on what apears to be a refuse tip. She's in London at the mo trying to find a job so I was asked to get some stuff out of there for her friend to take down there tomorrow. I agreed only on condition that I could have a tidy and fling while I was in there.
It will take weeks:eek:
So I am now back downstairs with a coffee and a rich tea (or three).
Anoither load of washing on as DD wants a sheet - will need to TD it though.
Also I now know where all my cutlery and glasses went - so DW on as well:D0 -
Vanilla - huge hugs for you, you have so much to cope with and so rarely complain. I hope things get resolved quickly.
H has removed himself briefly from the sofa and has re-plumbed the DW, has been draining into the sink since the pipes froze in the snow. I am tidying the pantry slowly but surely. I am dot-to-dotting ((c) AnWs Mum) in the hope I can deal with some of the worst issues.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
well i ventured to costco and back. took a bit longer than expected as was stuck for about half an hour on the a1 northbound due to a 3 car fender bender. no one was seriously hurt which is good, but lots of police cars about as you can imagine.
shopping has been put away, grocery budget has been decimated this month. just need to get bread, milk and sandwich meat now going forwards so shoudl come in on budget got about £50 left to last untill 20th may but my cupboards are full to bursting as is the freezer so will be more than fine.
going to get the washing on the radiators as its raining here and then carry on with a bit more of my list. most likely going to head to the spare room to have a quick tidy and then do our room.

Vanilla (((HUGS))) I honestly don't know how you cope; I'd be burying corpses under the patio by now, in your place.
In the Wolf's Lair today.... the greenhouse has been tidied (by me), the guttering at the back of the bungalow has been cleaned out (by Mr LW), and dins has been decluttered (by both of us).;)
I've also trimmed and filed my fingernails, as a couple of them tore while I was doing the greenhouse (they're 'orribly brittle), so that's a rotten job jobbed.:o
Mr LW's t-shirt looked like he'd been playing in the coal-hole by the time he'd done the guttering, so that's in the machine to be done tonight, and a nice clean one on him; he's just doing the weekly car check (that in all honesty was meant to be done yesterday) then we'll see if he still wishes to go for a walk.:)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Wow it is sooooooo nice out there today I can't believe it. School hols and Bank Hol usually = rain!
Have washed and dried two lots on the tine, most is folded and put away c/o Miss A
I have weeded all the borders and picked up the remnants of hawthorn that were dropped in our garden the other week. We have decluttered some easter eggs
I need to get the lawns cut but it is way too warm at the mo, was hoping the NDN would cut the front but alas this has not happened. They cut their back lawn but nothing on the front and it needs doing, looks like I will have to do it again
Off to do some more general dot2dotting.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang

Husbands don't you just love them. Mine has returned with 6 fleeces, 6 mucky overalls, general clothes and towels from 3 days camping / motor race mechanicing. Can only get 2 overalls in washer at a time. On 5th load of the day so far. Thankfully all is well as the sun is still shining and none of it will need ironing.Make £10 per day in July £45.48/£310

had the family for dinner yesterday (glares at flypeeps shouting - we had turkey/chicken/gammon/salmon etc and thinking they're funneeee :rotfl:)
so I was busy. Lil sis and big BIL (and I mean huge - next to him I look like a bleached oompa loompa because, obviously, I'm not actually blue) slept over so they had my bed and I had the under bed because there was NO WAY I was going to mess up either of the kids beds having washed their pillow, duvets and completely changed their bedding because I'd have had to do it again...and they declined my kind offer of a cooked breakfast and took me out for breakfast...
so their towels on line and the duvet covers...just glad I had clean, ironed bedding readily available - BIL was encouraged to stay with the promise of slipping between ironed sheets LOL - sis does not share my ironing gene!
I managed about 20 minutes in the garden with my book before I decided it was TOO HOT!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
